Study tour is a project focused on group of young students with the aim of improving their knowledge and skills;and to achieve the educational program in a colorful form.Study tour is different from other tourism products in its aim to achieve the function of education,improve the comprehensive quality of young students and enhance their comprehensive ability.With the rapid development of China's economy,the higher living standards in China,in addition to the raising of China's higher educations' level,more and more foreign students choose China as their own tourism destination in some fields of study.In recent years,because of the growing relationship between China and many countries in Africa,in addition to the position of Chongqing in“One Belt-One Road and the Yangtze River Economic Belt junctions,the number of African students studying in China especially in Chongqing has been rising year by year,and this leads Chongqing to a large scale of study tour.Many scholars have done researches on the influencing factors of study tour as well as on the understanding and attitudes of tourists.This paper uses the related theoretical economics,tourism psychology to analyze the influence factors and behavior characteristics of African foreign students participating in study tour in Chongqing and puts forward some problem-solving measures to the relevant departments of Chongqing and African Countries College related to young students' study tour.Using the relevant theory,the advice of experts and based on “Push and pull” theory,13 factors such as pull factor and intermediate factor,are selected,and an online and field questionnaire survey was carried out for African students in different colleges and universities in Chongqing,and later SPSS 23 statistical data and influence factors were used for extraction and analysis.The result shows that among 13 factors selected,the cumulative contribution rate of the following 4 factors “Regional attractiveness”,“Development opportunities and costs”,“Personnel development needs”,“relatives and friends recommendation”,have reached 67% >60%;which means that most of the information of the original variable can be explained.This paper is divided into seven chapters;the first one,is to introduce the background of the research paper,that includes the literature review,research methods and technical routes,research content and innovation points.The second chapter definesthe related theoretical basis,including the definition,the concept and the value of study tour,the different types of study tour and the current situation of study tour.The third chapter expounds the research hypothesis of African students studying in Chongqing;this includes the current situation of study tour in China,the basis of the theoretical model,the research hypothesis and its variable measurement,the selection of influencing factors and the investigation of behavioral characteristics.The fourth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of African students' study tour in Chongqing;through a questionnaire firstly uses the SPSS 23 software to stress on the demographic characteristics of African tourists in Chongqing;second,the factor analysis method was adopted to extract and explain the different factors that influence African students to carry out their study in Chongqing.The fifth chapter is about the behavioral characteristics of African students studying in Chongqing whereas the sixth chapter puts forward the countermeasures for it.The last fifth chapter of this paper,the conclusions and prospects of the research,and put forward some suggestions for further research.
