Textbook is an important materialized form and a carrier of the curriculum.And it is in the field of curriculum implementation for teachers to use textbooks.With the implementation of the new basic education curriculum reform that began in 2001 and especially the establishment of the “one standard and multiple textbooks” policy,the relationship between teachers,textbooks,and curriculum standards has been re-examined.The way for teachers to use textbooks relates to the quality of new curriculum implementation.And certain studies have shown that the way and skills teachers use textbooks as well as their interpretation of teaching materials and resources will inevitably affect normal efficiency of their teaching.People often pay more attention to curriculum implementation results as they are relatively concerned about course implementation process.Therefore,the impact on the teaching effectiveness in which teachers use textbooks brings a series of issues which need to be studied in depth.This study takes the relationship between teachers' use of textbooks and classroo m teaching as its subject and the textbooks in the version of Beijing Normal Universit y Press as an example.After theoretical analysis and practical investigations,four facto rs contributing to teaching efficiency with math scores,attitudes towards math,view of points and problem-solving ability included are put forward,therefore,related hypothe sis has been put forward:teachers with a good command of textbooks may help the wh ole class have an active performance.And students are relatively positive and much m ore open to learn mathematics.And their ability to solve problem is even stronger with higher math scores.The research includes four stages:(1)The development the research tools.Appropriate research tools will be revised,developed,and selected through the theoretical construction,literature review,classroom observation,after-class interviews,and expert consultations;(2)The evaluation of the level of textbooks' use for all research objects.The method of target sampling was adopted to select the objects,and a comparative analysis was conducted through classroom observation and after-schoolinterviews to evaluate the level of textbooks' use;(3)The explanation of four aspects featuring teaching effects.Through the student questionnaire and math test questions at the end of the test to determine the effectiveness of teaching;(4)Hypothesis verification.It aims to explore whether the use of textbooks by teachers has an effect on the effectiveness of teaching,and it uses the correlation and variance analysis and so on,to conduct the data collation and hypothesis verification.The main conclusions of this research are as follows:(1)The level of teachers' use of textbooks is irrelevant to students' mathematics and their learning attitudes;(2)Teachers with high levels of textbook use have a stronger problem-solving ability;(3)High levels of textbook use Teachers and students have more advantages in mathematics learning;(4)Teachers with high levels of textbook use can better grasp the concept of writing textbooks;(5)Teachers can better improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching by comprehensively holding the orientation of various courses.Combining research theory and research results,the following suggestions of teachers and school for teaching are put forward:Teachers need to understand the mathematics curriculum standards and make it implemented in class teaching;Teachers need to understand the textbooks to maximize its value;Teachers need to understand their students to make the suitable teaching objects and contents for their students;Teachers need to make a self-reflection to improve their curriculum implementation ability.School should establish a school-based textbook research system;School need to develop oriented curriculum resources and enrich teaching content;School should also perfect the teaching evaluation mechanisms to ensure the professional development of teachers.
