Cultivating students' Key Competences is the direction of the current education and curriculum reform,and the contributions that each subject makes to Key Competences are mainly reflected via curriculum and teaching,and as an important carrier of carrying out Key Competences in the education teaching practice,textbooks affect the cultivation of students' Key Competences.Therefore,improving aptness of textbooks on Key Competences is of great significance.Given the nature of Chinese subject and the fundamental function of primary school,this research analyzes the national Chinese textbook for primary school mainly based on a large number of literature.The main content is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is based on two points:Key Competences has become a development trend of international education and curriculum reform,the national Chinese textbook gradually replaces the Chinese textbooks of the People' s Education Press edition(PEP)and is used nationwide.And it reviews the research about "Key Competences","Chinese subject Key Competences" and "Chinese textbooks for primary school " to form an overview about the present situation of existing related research;The second chapter defines the meaning,features and constituent elements of the primary school Chinese subject Key Competences on the basis of existing research;The third chapter studies the aptness of selecting and editing concept and system 'of the national Chinese textbooks for first grade primary school,combining with the connotation and constituent elements of the primary school Chinese subject Key Competences;The fourth chapter analyzes the aptness of the editorial style of national Chinese textbooks for first grade primary school from the selection system;The fifth chapter is problems that the national Chinese textbook for first grade primary school is not appropriate or sufficiently appropriate for Key Competences of Chinese subject,which is found during the process of text analysis on chapter iii and chapter iv.It makes recommendations respectively for teachers and editors about how to edit and use Chinese textbook for primary school based on the Key Competences.
