It is an important trend to integrate the history of science(HOS)into science education to promote the reform of science education.With the implementation of disciplinary key competences in subject teaching,how to use the HOS to promote the development of students' disciplinary key competences has gradually become an important issue in science education.As an important carrier of the HOS,the arrangement of textbooks has a significant impact on the implementation of the HOS education.Based on the disciplinary key competences,this study deeply analyzed the HOS content in the science textbooks(Zhejiang edition).The research processes are as follows,first,defined the connotation of the science key competences and analyzed the relationship between the educational value of the HOS and the science key competences,then,built the analytical framework and tool.Second,used the analytical tool to analyze the HOS content in the science textbooks(Zhejiang edition).The analysis results show that the HOS content in the science textbooks(Zhejiang edition)is relatively low,the HOS content is mostly in the form of combination of words and figures,and approximately balanced in the main text and the non-text.In depicting the image of scientists,there is a problem of solidifying the stereotype of scientists.In the description of scientific development and scientific practice,although the process of scientific development is simplified to an accumulative and linear state,the image of scientific practice that science is the cause of all mankind and science needs cooperation is more truly restored.In terms of the disciplinary key competences,the HOS content in the science textbooks(Zhejiang edition)are not balanced.There are more HOS units that reflect scientific concept,and less HOS units that reflect scientific inquiry,scientific thinking and social responsibility.Based on the conclusions,this study proposes practical suggestions for the compilation of the science textbooks(Zhejiang edition)and teachers,and discusses the development direction of the follow-up research.
