The new curriculum reform puts forward new requirements for primary school mathematics teaching.Teachers need to establish a new type of educational philosophy that suits the development of the information age, change their roles, and put students in the main position of learning. As a new type of teaching model, flipped classroom is based on the principle of “student-centered”.Under the concept of “learning first, teaching later, and promoting learning through education”,information technology has made mathematics teaching more diversified.Flipped classroom encourages students to perform mathematics learning more efficiently. In this thesis,it takes three primary schools in Dalian City,Liaoning Province,as the research object, and adopts questionnaire survey and interviews to study the application status and strategies of flipped classrooms in primary school mathematics teaching. The main research contents are as follows:First,a questionnaire survey for primary school mathematics teachers was conducted on the four aspects, including, understanding of flipped classroom, application attitudes, frequency of use,and application effectiveness. The class entitled "factors and multiples" is selected to compare results of flipped classroom teaching with those of traditional classroom teaching. The data of the questionnaires and comparative tests are collated and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Most teachers in three schools agree with the concept of flipped classroom. Some teachers have already applied this model and believed that the teaching effect under this model should be more significant. For example, teachers can master the situation well and students learn more actively. In the class, the exchanges and interactions between teachers and students, students and students will also increase significantly.(2)As flipped classroom is still in the initial stage of testing new things, there are corresponding problems in the trial process, such as the students' single material for self-study,the feedback is not timely, and the teacher's concept is not completely changed, and so on.(3)The use of flipped classroom in elementary school mathematics classroom can effectively improve students' mastery of mathematics knowledge and improve their math scores.Secondly, based on the analysis of the status of applications, factors affecting the application of flipped classrooms in primary school mathematics teaching are explored bymeans of interviews from four levels, including school, teachers, students, and parents. Some application strategies are proposed based on actual conditions:(1)Schools should formulate relevant implementation rules, provide systematic and effective training for teachers, improve hardware equipment, establish interactive platforms, and use existing conditions to carry out school-based rollovers.(2)Teachers should change their teaching concepts and their own roles. While improving their overall quality, they should rely on the team to promote cooperation and exchange and use the flipped classroom model flexibly.(3)Students should establish a sense of learning of their masters, develop good study habits, change their learning styles, and improve their learning efficiency.(4)Parents should make a modest transition to the idea of academic performance as the center, and strengthen communication with schools and teachers,so that children can learn in a harmonious and favorable environment.
