Confucianism has long occupied a dominant position in Chinese history.It has an indelible influence on China and Korea's moral education.The moral education plays an indispensable role in education,among which the primary moral education is particularly important.Pupil period is a basic period for students to learn,but also the students gradually began to contact and understand society.It has a profound impact on the formation and culture of moral standards,outlook on life,values and world-views.Thus,learn experience from the comparative analysis of the moral education of primary schools of China and South Korea under Confucianism to improve the effectiveness of education in primary school.Then make contribution to the development and reformation of China's primary school moral education.This paper first studies the current situation of moral education in China and South Korea's primary schools in the context of Confucianism,and explores the necessity of studying this theme.It also expounds the basic theory of Confucianism and primary school moral education.To provide theoretical background and conceptual support for this paper,it discusses the influence of Confucianism on the teaching idea,method and process of moral education and the way of evaluation.Secondly,it expounds the embodiment of Confucianism in primary school moral education in China and South Korea.It focuses on three aspects:curriculum setting,curriculum content and practice education.Although the influence of Confucianism between China and South Korea is far-reaching,the moral education is different because of the differences of national conditions,social forms,historical process and the degree of inheritance of Confucianism.Thirdly,this paper deeply analyzes and sums up the similarities and differences of the moral education of China and South Korea's primary school under Confucianism to provide realistic enlightenment for the development of China's primary school moral education.Generally speaking,the influence of Confucianism on moral education in primary school of China and South Korea is self-evident.Through the study of the primary school moral education of South Korea,we gained lot of experience to promote the reform of moral education and the development of moral education,to improve the quality and effect of moral education and the effectiveness of the moral education curriculum in China.
