Primary school is the enlightenment stage of science education,and scientific textbooks play a key role in it.Its writing characteristics can often reflect the state and level of science education in a country.As a country with the highest technological and educational strength in Asia,South Korea has a certain degree of representativeness in the reform of its science curriculum and the preparation of scientific textbooks.Therefore,the design and editing of its textbooks are extremely researchable.Through the comparative study of two sets of primary school science textbooks in China and South Korea,we will further expand the research scope of primary school science textbooks,enrich the comparative study theory of primary school science textbooks,and draw on their excellent experience to provide some reference for the preparation and revision of Chinese textbooks,and thus shorten The gap with the education powers.This paper selects the primary school "Science" textbook published by the People's Education Publishing House and the primary school "Science" textbook published by the Korea Science and Engineering Foundation and the National Library Writing Committee.In the context of the development of basic science education in China and South Korea,this study describes the development history of primary school science curriculum standards in China and South Korea and the current textbooks.Then,using the "Earth and Universe" module as an example,we carefully comb the two sets of teaching materials.The orchestration structure includes unit structure and knowledge structure;content selection includes breadth,depth and difficulty of knowledge;presentation methods include language organization,illustration setting,column design and scientific inquiry.And in the analysis and comparison,explore the characteristics and similarities and differences between the two sets of textbooks.After all,by consulting the literature,translating the text,using literature research,content analysis and comparative research,the paper compares and analyzes the characteristics and differences between the two primary school science textbooks,and draws the enlightenment to China:the layout of the textbook should be diversified and The unit selection module should be added;the content selection should highlight the "scientific material" characteristics,highlighting the life;the presentation method is diversified,rationalized and consider the characteristics of children;focus on the cultivation of learning ability with the core of inquiry ability.
