After thousands of years of inheritance and development,martial arts has distinctive national characteristics and has been branded with the imprint of the traditional Chinese culture.As a unique manifestation of the Chinese nation,martial arts contains rich cultural content,such as teaching and trustworthiness,respect for teachers,bravery,and hard work.These traditional virtues play an important role in raising the ideological and moral standards of young people and promoting and nurturing the national spirit.In 2004,the “Outline for the Development and Promotion of National Spirits in Primary and Secondary Schools” put forward the call for appropriate increase of Chinese martial arts in physical education classes.In actual implementation,martial arts teaching has not been universally popularized and has been affected by teaching materials,teachers,and other aspects.The schools that offer martial arts courses also face the phenomenon of students who "like martial arts and do not like martial arts classes." Therefore,the development of school martial arts teaching is not optimistic.How martial arts education in the school is more scientific,more effective,healthier,and more sustainable is crucial.Nowadays,martial arts is also affected by foreign cultures such as Taekwondo and judo.To improve the status of martial arts,we must pay attention to martial arts education from the school,start from the young people to carry forward the national traditions of the country,and use martial arts as a means of cultural education to enhance students' national culture.Identity and cultural self-confidence,inspire the national spirit,so as to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Nanyang City is located in the south of Henan Province and is home to the famous "Hometown of Martial Arts".Nanyang folk style has been a historical and cultural city since ancient times.Nowadays,13 counties and cities have popularized the development of martial arts and made their contributions to the outstanding achievements of Nanyang martial arts.Nearly a thousand types of Wushu routines such as Xinyiquan,Shaolin Boxing and Tai Chi are popularized and promoted on a larger scale.Nanyang martial masters abound and are numerous.This article takes the status of martial arts teaching in the martial arts specialty schools in Nanyang City as the research object,adopts the literature method,investigation method,field investigation method,mathematical statistics method,and logical analysis method,and adopts the twelfth elementary school in Nanyang City and the 45 th elementary school in Nanyang City.Nanyang Dongsheng Primary School of Nanzhao County,Double Star School of Dushu Town,Fangcheng County,Nanyang City,and 5 Wushu Special Schools of Hongfeng International School of Tanghe County,Nanyang City conducted a survey to analyze the current status and problems of Wushu teaching in Nanyang Wushu Characteristic School.In order to promote the development and expansion of martial arts special schools,martial arts education provides a reference for scientific and all-round development.By investigating the status quo of martial arts teaching in martial arts specialty schools in Nanyang City,this paper draws the following conclusions:1.The leaders of martial arts specialty schools in Nanyang City pay more attention to martial arts teaching,and the cultural atmosphere of campus martial arts is relatively strong,and relevant organization and leadership institutions have been established.All of them have indoor martial arts venues and meet the requirements of the "Administrative Measures for Henan Martial Arts Schools".However,the venues are too small to meet the collective martial arts teaching,and martial arts teaching activities are still conducted outdoors.The school's twice-a-day class can guarantee a martial arts class once.At least one provincial competition will be held each year.2.The martial arts specialty school in Nanyang City lists martial arts as a compulsory subject for physical education classes,and at least one martial arts class every week.Selected textbooks for the "Higher Education Press" "Chinese Wushu paragraph system tutorial series Changquan." There are 7 martial arts special teachers.Teachers believe that the current teaching difficulties are insufficient space and equipment,incomplete management system,and parents do not support.3.Martial arts students have studied martial arts content,and more than 70% of students have high interest in martial arts.Students' motivation for learning is mainly physical and self-defense.Teachers in the evaluation of the evaluation of martial arts sports skills,martial arts assessment competitive.Students' understanding of traditional martial arts tends to be superficial.4.The martial arts specialty schools in Nanyang City have the problems of weak professional teachers,single funding sources,tight budgets,lagging development of school-based martial arts textbooks,and insufficient awareness of martial arts by parents.5.The following countermeasures should be taken in the martial arts teaching of Wushu Characteristic School in Nanyang: Strengthen the training mechanism of physical education teachers and improve the teaching level of teachers;Strengthen the promotion of campus martial arts and create a martial arts atmosphere on the campus;Use textbooks as the basis to optimize the reform of Wushu teaching content;Optimize the teaching methods of martial arts And means;to optimize evaluation criteria for martial arts teaching.Combining the conclusions gives the following suggestions:1.To build a professional martial arts teacher team and strengthen teacher training.2.Improve the school martial arts reward system.Give spiritual or material rewards to outstanding martial arts teachers and teachers who lead the martial arts training team,and issue certificates of merit to students who have achieved outstanding results.Mobilize teachers and students to actively participate in martial arts enthusiasm.3.Schools gradually reduce the proportion of skills exams in the overall evaluation of the final period to the largest or only pattern.Teachers will be able to correctly evaluate students' learning conditions through comprehensive assessments of will quality,study habits,classroom performance,and moral qualities.4.Implement the school policy in place.In order to prevent campus martial arts from being “unreasonable”,the school uploaded and delivered every part of the martial arts work.
