Mental health education escorts the growth of spiritual health.The professional development of mental health education teachers is the key to enhancing escorting capabilities.The cause of mental health education in China started late,and development is slow.The level of professionalism of mental health education teachers is low,and the problem of professional development of mental health education teachers in rural areas is more prominent.Henan Province is a typical rural province with a vast area.The contemporary primary and middle school students are a cross-century generation.It is of great significance to carry out the research on the development of mental health education teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Henan Province.Firstly,the research content was determined based on the literature review.Domestic research has achieved certain research results,but there are some problems such as lack of empirical research,insufficient attention in rural areas,and insufficiently detailed and appropriate solutions;in foreign research,we focus on researching the literature in the United States,the United Kingdom,Japan,and other countries.In line with China's national conditions.Secondly,focusing on rural primary and secondary schools in Henan Province,empirical research was conducted through questionnaires.Through the questionnaire survey,the overall situation and main problems of the low level of professional development of mental health teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Henan Province were found.The professional background was diversified,the ratio of special and part-time work was unbalanced,the research ability was weak,the practical performance skills were poor,and the external support conditions were poor.Wait.According to the comparative analysis of the differences in factors influencing various aspects,it is concluded that the number of years of employment,the stage of development,the area where it is located,the degree of education,and the school level have a significant effect on the level of professional knowledge of teachers.Finally,from the government,schools,and teachers,three levels of concrete suggestions for the professional development of mental health teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Henan Province: The government should provide policy support,strengthen job supervision,carry out professional training;schools should fully recognize the recognition of mental health education,Recruitment of professionals,provision of protection conditions,and joint establishment of learning communities by school and school;teachers should formulate long-term development plans to maintain lifelong learning,establish self-learning awareness and multi-channel professional development,enhance a variety of practical skills,attach importance to teaching reflection,strengthen peers Communication and cooperation.
