With the development of economy and society since China's reform and opening-up,education has been developing continuously.Since 1978,when the graduate student enrollment system was restored and the degree system was implemented in 1981,education has received more and more attention,and the number of postgraduate students has increased year by year.Since the middle and late 1990s,the employment policy of Chinese university students has changed from "unified management" to "two-way choice "and "independent choice".This means that graduates need to choose their career according to their subjective and objective conditions,which are bound to be affected by these factors.In this paper,based on the theory of Holland vocational tendency,the selection of full-time graduate student as investigation object,design the questionnaire to collect data,using the statistical package SPSS Statistics to analyze data,20.0 designed in this paper.Based on the theory of Holland vocational tendency of six dimensions,analysis of different individual graduate if there is a difference in the different variables,objective analysis the parents again,policy,unit of choose and employ persons,the correlation between school factor and career trends.After analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:First,graduate students in S university tend to choose social,investigative and artistic work.Graduate students may have a variety of tendencies in career choice,and there are several dominant trends.Career choices are influenced by many factors.Second,there are significant differences in the practical,investigative,and social career trends among graduate students of different genders,and males are significantly higher than female graduate students.Third,there are significant differences between different grades in terms of practical,investigative,social and professional career trends,and research one significantly higher than research two and three.Fourth,there are no significant differences in the six occupational preferences of different sources,such as actual type,investigation type,social type,artistic type,routine type and career type.Fifth,there are significant differences between different majors in practical,artistic,investigation and conventional career type,and science graduate students are significantly higher than liberal arts graduate students.Sixth,there is a significant difference in social and career trends among graduate students with or without student cadre experience,and the number of graduate students with student cadre experience is significantly higher than that of non-graduate students.Seventh,whether there are part-time or internship experiences in the actual type,investigation type,social type,artistic type,regular type,career type six vocational inclination does not have significant difference.Eighth,there are significant differences in the social career trend of whether or not there is community activity.Ninth,parents,policies,employers and school factors have a positive effect on graduate career tendency.Finally,based on the conclusion of the research,the paper puts forward reasonable Suggestions:the graduate students should improve their comprehensive quality and subjective initiative.Parents,policies,schools and employers should work together to help graduate students to clarify their career preferences and make relevant preparations.
