Modern prose is the leading style of Chinese teaching in junior middle school,most of which in textbooks is written narrative prose which is written by people.Therefore,modern narrative prose has naturally become the key content of Chinese teaching in junior middle school.In this thesis,the author investigates the current situation of modern Chinese narrative prose teaching of junior middle school based on an example of modern narrative prose in the current teaching edition of junior middle school Chinese Textbooks and the summary of previous researches on the teaching of modern prose narrative to further find out the problems and analyze the reasons,as well as to put forward corresponding solutions.This paper is divided into five parts,which mainly expounds the basis of this paper,defines the concept and characteristics of modern narrative prose,and summarizes teaching objectives,contents,and meanings of the modern narrative prose of junior middle school.In addition,the thesis discusses the teaching problems and causes as well.Finally,strategies on the current teaching situation are put forward.
