"Core accomplishment" is a highlight in education system in recent years,it is the core of mathematics curriculum.Firstly,due to the abstract feature of mathematics,mathematical abstraction accomplishment is necessarily and inevitably put at the first place of the six high school students' core accomplishments of mathematics.Secondly,the most effective way to achieve excellent educational achievements is teaching in class.Therefore,it is meaningful to conduct research on the teaching design for the purpose of cultivating high school students' mathematical abstract accomplishment.The author applies the research approaches as follows:literature analysis,questionnaire and interview in this paper.Having consulted the relevant literature as well as the"General high school mathematics curriculum standard(2017)",the author of this thesis divided mathematical accomplishment into three level dimensions,three content dimensions,compiled test papers and made a theoretical framework in order to investigate the current situation of high school students' mathematical abstract accomplishment.The respondents of this research were 2 parallel classes in public middle school and two parallel classes in private middle schools in Changsha.After collecting the questionnaires,some individual students are interviewed.Date analysis is done with SPSS22.O.According to the results of the survey,the mathematical abstract accomplishment of high school students'is just so-so.The mathematical abstract accomplishment of most students reaches level 1,half of them reach level 2,only a few of them reach level 3.The author analyses the reasons for the students having made mistakes on the three content dimensions and discovers the following two problems in developing the high school students' mathematical abstract accomplishment at the present stage:(1)Due to the lack of knowledge and skills,most students can work out the exercises only in the familiar case under the corresponding mathematical concepts and rules.(2)Most students do exercise by imitating.In view of the result of survey and with the combination of the related educational theories and practical experience,the author puts forward the following strategies from the teacher' s point of view.(1)Combine visual sensibility and grasp the abstract connotation.(2)Focus on laying a solid foundation before acknowledge something new and constructing the knowledge framework.(3)Lay importance on the activities such as observation,analysis,analogy and so on.(4)Cultivate comprehensive mathematical accomplishments.Finally,taking teaching the the high school students function course and the course of "distance problem" as a model,the author makes teaching designs on how to develop the students' mathematical accomplishments.
