"Four abilities" were proposed in the course objectives of the General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition),That is,"to improve the ability to find and raise questions from a mathematical point of view,and to analyze and solve problems." This has an important role for students to form a sense of innovation and application,improve practical ability,and use mathematics to solve practical problems.Domestic experts and scholars attach great importance to solving mathematical problems,and problem solving is also one of the major research topics in mathematics education.The"new college entrance examination"also clearly emphasizes that the mathematics subject should strengthen the ability to use mathematics knowledge to solve problems in learning and life.The author selected a function as a vehicle for studying and cultivating senior mathematics problem solving ability.In the study of high school mathematics,functions play a key role in cultivating students' thinking.It is the main thread that runs through the high school mathematics curriculum,and it is also one of the most basic,most important and core contents of modern mathematics.Therefor,the combination of mathematical problem solving ability and function will help students improve their mathematics thinking,mathematics literacy and learning efficiency.This research mainly adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method and title test method.The test and research of Senior One students' function problem solving ability.It mainly deals with the current situation of the function solving ability of high school students and the difference in the ability to solve the function of boys and girls from the three dimensions of solving the function problem activity object,solving the problem function activity process and solving the function problem activity.The difference between the functional problem-solving abilities of A-level and non-A-level students in the mathematics score of the senior high school entrance examination and the correlation between each dimension and the score.After using SPSS to carry on statistical analysis to relevant data,draw the investigation conclusions:(1)Senior One students pay more attention to the active process of solving the function problem,but neglect the result of solving the problem function object and solving the function problem,especially the test,promotion and expansion of the result after solving the function problem.(2)There is no significant gender difference in the functional problem solving ability of Senior One students.(3)The mathematics scores of the senior high school students and non-A students have significant differences in the problem-solving abilities of the two groups of students,that is,the ability of A students to solve functional problems in the senior high school mathematics score is higher than non-A students.(4)Solve the problem of function objects,solve the problem of function activities process and solve the problem of function activities result in Senior One students' achievement has significant correlation,at 0.01 level(double side)have a significant positive correlation.Finally,the methods and strategies of solving the function problem of Senior One students.
