Under the background of globalization,the trends of cultural globalization and education globalization are inevitable.United States,Canada,Australia and the United Kingdom are the leaders of cultural globalization and multiculturalism.They have great influence and appeal in the implementation of policies and practice.They are also leaders in the development of multicultural education among the other developed regions.Under the premise of respecting differences,multicultural education will promote understanding and communication among different cultures,it will increase the cultural atmosphere and harmony of national social inclusion,in order to achieve regional globalization and internationalization gradually,which will make a contribution to the world peace.As a newcomer of multicultural education,South Korea has drawn great attention to the development of multiculturalism due to the unique characteristics of its nation-state,and the tortuous implementation of the historical education policies system.South Korea multicultural education is becoming the focus of mass education.It is also seen as a response to the multicultural challenges brought by the gradually increase of foreign immigrants and international marriages in recent years.In 2006,the Korean government put multicultural education into practice according the policies.All areas fully implemented the policies and carry out educational activities.The existing system of education in public schools of Korea seeks to introduce emerging group racial differences and multicultural education.Through the research and analysis of Korea's multicultural education policy,the schooling and the embryonic achievement could provide useful enlightenment for our country multicultural education.This article is divided into five parts.Introduction: the reasons,the purpose and the meaning of the study,the literature review,research approach,and the definition of the main concepts;Chapter Two is: the background of Korean multicultural education rise.Expound the historical process and the motivation of social development,which have become the basis of development of multicultural education in modern time.Chapter Three is: The national policy of multicultural education in Korea.The content of the multicultural family support act law that act as the main legal provisions,and the Children from Multicultural Families Education Support Plan as the secondary legal provisions.This section elaborates the content and impact of the policies;Chapter Four is: The multicultural education practice of related Schools.The content include the structures of Multicultural Courses,presentation changes of the textbook,The case analysis of the school curriculum practice,practice of teaching methods,teachers qualities and vocational training;Chapter Five is: the existing problems and achievements of Korea multicultural education practice,which put forward the initial implementation of the problem and initial results.Chapter Six is: Revelation from Korea Multicultural Education for China.
