Research purposes: Based on experiments of psychological refractory period of taekwondo athletes of different nerve kinds and sports levels,this paper further explores the characteristics of psychological refractory period,thus provides theoretical basis and practice guidance for future projects of technical and tactical training of taekwondo athletes and for scientific selection of athletes.Research methods: This paper selects 67 top-level and 100 secondary taekwondo athletes as the experimental object.Tests of nerve types are conducted to screen out athletes of three kinds of nerve types to experiment on psychological refractory period.The experiment uses refractory period test system on taekwondo athletes of different kinds of nerve and different levels to explore the characteristics of the psychological refractory period.Research results: 1.The nerve type test results show that the neural type of taekwondo athletes is more dispersed.Overall,the level of nerve types of top-level athletes is higher than that of secondary-level athletes.2.For different neural types,level-one taekwondo athletes show significant neurotype effect in sound task and visual task(p<0.05);athletes under level-two show significant neurotype effect in sound task and visual task(p<0.05);3.Under different sports conditions,middle type or lower,judging from average number,level-one athletes behave better than level-two athletes.Research Conclusion:1.The screening test results of nerve-type test show that the neural type of taekwondo athletes is rather dispersed.This is in proportion with the characteristics of “mass selection,high drop-out and low-yielding rates” of taekwondo sports.Athletes selection is mainly based on physical conditions,with limited psychological means and methods.The nerve type selected doesn't represent the nerve type of elite athletes in taekwondo.2.The study on the characteristics of the psychological refractory period of taekwondo athletes with different nerve types shows that athletes with high nerve types respond faster and more accurately than those with lower nerve types.3.The study on the characteristics of the psychological refractory period of taekwondo athletes with different nerve types shows that there is a tendency for high level athletes to be better than those with low level athletes in reaction and accurary.4.Neurotypes and psychological refractory periods are both affected by heredity.Environmental factors are not significant.
