The lack of social skills not only seriously affects the development of social adaptive behavior of children with autism, but also lead to children with autism can not be integrated into normal life successfully.It is particularly important to learn social skills for the preschool children with autism who will to enter a wider social field. For the existing methods of intervention skills, video modeling is a kind of novel intervention model with irreplaceable advantages which established behavior acquisition frame fixed by using of multimedia information.So video modeling accord with the visual learning advantages of children with autism.Meanwhile, it also brings a lot of convenience for teaching.The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of video modeling on social skills intervention of preschool children with autism. The research adopts the methods of single subject multiple probe across behavior design in the experimental design, with a preschool autistic children as the research object, with visual analysis table for quantitative research, and through the “teaching interview outline” to collect and collate the relevant opinions and views of the research object’s teachers and parents, to establish the social validity. The results show: 1 the video modeling to improve social skills of preschool children with autism has immediate effects. 2 the video modeling to improve social skills of preschool children with autism has general effects. 3 the video modeling to improve social skills of preschool children with autism has maintenance effect. 4 the video modeling to improve social skills of preschool children with autism has social effects.In addition, researchers analysis and discuss the factors which affects the effectiveness of video modeling and corresponding adjustment measures, and make some suggestions and provide reference for the future teaching and research.
