Social Work Intervention Research On Community Correction Of Juvenile Violent Crimes

Problem of juvenile delinquency has now become a social problem which is very important.It is necessary to implement pointed community corrections for criminal juveniles.The corrections need to take into full considerations the physiological,psychological and behavior characteristics of juveniles,while the social casework,which emphasize the individualized way of work,is exactly in accord with the requirements of the juvenile community corrections.This paper is the study of using the case-work method to intervene in the corrections for the wrong cognitions and misconducts of criminal juveniles.This paper cite as an example the violence cases of Juvenile community correction in F Street in B City,adopt a case-work mode for cognitive behavior therapy,On the basis of analyzing the problems and requirements of service objects,the specific objectives and plans of case services have been drawed up to correct the unreasonable cognitions and violent behaviors of service objects and conduct them reshape right cognitions,gradually correct their misconducts.Finally we evaluate and reflect the processes and results of the case services.The research conclusion showed that the case-work method is applied to juvenile community corrections,especially the cognitive behavior therapy produces an obviously intervening result on correcting the cognitions and behaviors of the service objects.However,there is a deficiency of incapably mobilizing for social resources supports in the cognitive behavior therapy.Furthermore,there are certain limitations of applications of the research conclusion because of the inadequate representativeness of case researches.
