The construction of rural education and the team building of rural teachers have always been part of the weaker education equalization in our country, and they are also the two items that the country attaches great importance to.For the development of rural education and the training of outstanding rural teachers, the state attaches great importance to the professional development of teachers and the cultivation of professional psychological quality. How to guide teachers to establish correct working values has become a problem that needs to be solved in the current development of rural teachers and improvement of rural education quality.Work values are the intrinsic motivating factors of teachers' work, affecting teachers' attitudes and emotions in their work positions.Through empirical investigations, this article adopts the methods of literature research, questionnaire survey, interviews, etc.A comprehensive and in-depth study of the status quo of development of values and influencing factors has been carried out,and efforts are being made to find effective methods for teachers in rural primary and secondary schools to establish correct values so as to provide a feasible reference for the government education department to formulate reasonable rural education policies and to solve rural education problems. We will provide constructive opinions on the construction of rural teachers and ultimately promote the balanced development of the entire education system.First, the content of rural teachers' work values. In this study, through literature research, case interviews, and expert discussions, the seven dimensions that affect the work values of rural primary and secondary school teachers are presented. The first dimension is the material reward dimension;the second dimension is the reputation status dimension;the third dimension is the occupation. The development dimension;the fourth dimension is interpersonal relationship;the fifth dimension is the organizational management dimension;the sixth dimension is the altruistic dedication dimension;the seventh dimension is the security and stability dimension.Among them, material reward refers to teachers' opinions on the treatment of teachers according to the principle of distribution according to work and performance according to the laws of value and market mechanism;prestige status refers to the comprehensive evaluation of teachers' values and reputations by other members of the society. It is expressed as the degree of respect of teachers in this profession by other members of the society;career development refers to teachers' understanding of their current development goals and future development directions and development levels;interpersonal relationships refer to teachers ' establishment of learning, work, and life interactions. The relationship between people and people;organization and management refers to the school's management behaviors such as teacher identification, business assessment, rewards, and punishment;altruistic dedication means that teachers do not expect foreign rewards for students to voluntarily self-select themselves. The self-sacrificing behavior;safety and stability refer to the teachers' pursuit of a stable and safe future, such as the safety of work, the fixed income, and the stability of the school system.Second, the status quo and individual characteristic factors of rural teachers' work values. This study designed questionnaires through literature research, case interviews, and expert discussions.Through the use of SPS analysis tools,an in-depth analysis of the information data from the survey was conducted, and it was then concluded that teachers' work values in rural schools were at a medium level. There is still great progress and room for improvement.Among the seven dimensions of rural teachers' work values, material rewards are the lowest and interpersonal relationships are the highest.Rural teachers expressed their dissatisfaction with the importance and degree of respect of individual professions and also had certain opinions on the work environment and management system provided by the school. This study explored the significant differences in the demographic characteristics of rural teachers' work values from four aspects: gender, age, education, and income. It was found that these four aspects have a positive and related influence on rural teachers' work values.Third, countermeasures and suggestions. This study proposes the following countermeasures for rural teachers.First, improve relevant system construction and improve the school environment.Second, improve the salary of rural teachers and improve the social status of rural teachers.Third, strengthen positive publicity, establish typical representatives, and create a good atmosphere.Fourth, play the main role.Guide self-improvement.
