| “Curriculum Standards for biology of General senior high school” issued by Chinese ministry of education has proposed that students’ biological science literacy should be cultivated through the study of biology.It is an important way to cultivate students’ concept of life and social responsibility to carry out food safety and nutrition education in biology teaching.Adolescent period is a special stage of rapid development of body and mind,and it is also a key period for the gradual formation of healthy lifestyle and good eating habits in people’s life.In recent years,the nutrition health level of middle school students in China has improved a lot,but the problems of malnutrition,overweight and obesity still exist.Unhealthy diet,such as partial eating,picky eating and excessive dieting,is very common among students,which seriously affects the healthy growth of teenagers.At present,high school students are under severe pressure to study,and they have limited time to spend freely each day.The opportunities for independent study of food knowledge after class are very scarce.Therefore,it is not realistic to have a separate food course in high school.We should adopt osmotic teaching method to study these contents through the teaching process of related courses.The nature and characteristics of biological sciences enable it to bear the burden of food safety and nutrition education.There are many related knowledge points in biology teaching materials,which can be used by biology teachers to expand some food knowledge in class.The article from the four aspects to carry out food safety and nutrition education in biology teaching were explored.Firstly,this paper elaborates the relevant concepts and analyzes the current situation of food safety and nutrition education domestic and foreign.Furthermore,we proposes the research background,The purpose and significance,methods and contents of the research are discussed.Secondly,work with some students in the internship school as the object,through the KAP questionnaire survey to understand students’ food knowledge,behavior,attitude and so on.The survey results show that students have misconceptions about food safety and nutrition knowledge,and generally have bad eating habits,attitude is not correct.Third,biological teaching materials for high schools were found and analyzed the knowledge related to food.The teaching methods such as teaching method,questioning method,discussion method,experiment method and practice method are selected to carry out teaching activities and carry out relevant teaching design.Finally,after a semester of teaching practice in high school,the teaching effect is evaluated through questionnaire survey,performance analysis and student interview.The data display that students’ interest in learning biology increased,the awareness rate of food safety and nutrition knowledge is improved,most students are aware of its importance and their eating habits are gradually improving.The results of the study show that: it is feasible and effective to carry out education for food safety and nutrition in biology teaching.Due to the limitations of the research level and scope,coupled with the change of attitude and behavior is a long-term process,there are still many shortcomings in this study.It is not enough to rely solely on school education to promote the formation of students’ healthy eating behavior,which requires the joint participation and efforts of the society,the family and the school. |
