In order to promote the development of the 21 st century,a country must tap the potential of the youth if it wants to develop in the social,economic,political and other aspects.Project-based learning adapts to the needs of the development of the times and helps to train students' skills in the 21 st century.The reform of geography curriculum in junior high school requires that learning be useful for life,geography for life,and open geography curriculum.This provides a space for the application of project-based learning in geography teaching in junior high school,but by consulting relevant documents,combined with the interview of teachers and students and classroom observation,the author found that there is a single teaching method in junior high school geography teaching at present,and students' passive acceptance of knowledge in classroom participation is not high.The application effect of students' geography knowledge is not ideal.Project-based learning can effectively solve these problems,help to arouse the enthusiasm of students in geography learning,cultivate students' geographical literacy,and promote the all-round development of students.Applying project-based learning to geography teaching can optimize geography teaching mode and enrich geography teaching methods.The teaching design and implementation of project-based learning have put forward higher requirements for teachers' geography knowledge and classroom management,which is conducive to promoting the professional growth of geography teachers.This article mainly uses the literature research method,the questionnaire survey method,the statistical analysis method.Firstly,the research background,significance,ideas and methods of junior high school geography project learning are put forward.Secondly,it defines the concept of project-based learning,summarizes the constituent elements,basic processes and characteristics of project-based learning,and puts forward the theoretical basis of this paper.The research progress both at home and abroad is classified and analyzed.Thirdly,through the investigation and analysis of the implementation of project-based learning in junior middle school geography,the existing problems are found.Fourthly,through the analysis of the status quote of the implementation of project-based learning in geography teaching and the analysis of relevant documents,the author puts forward the teaching design strategy and teaching implementation strategy of junior high school geography project-based learning.Fifthly,according to the teaching strategy of geographical project-based learning proposed in chapter 4,this paper designs the teaching case of junior high school geography project-based learning.Finally,the conclusion about the implementation of junior high school geography project learning is concluded,and the innovation is explained,and the further research direction is put forward.Through the investigation of the implementation of project-based learning in junior high school geography teaching,it is found that the application of project-based learning in junior high school geography has a good foundation,but as a new teaching mode,many geography teachers have some deviations in their understanding of it.Some teachers have made a preliminary attempt on project-based learning and encountered many difficulties in the process of implementation,and the effect is not satisfactory.In view of the problems in the implementation,combined with the existing research,this paper puts forward the design and implementation strategy of the junior high school geography project learning.The design strategy mainly includes: choosing the appropriate project theme,designing the reasonable project study goal,designing the frame problem with clear level,making the systematic and targeted teaching evaluation.The implementation strategies mainly include setting up the learning community reasonably,arranging the study time flexibly,cultivating students' active learning habits and clarifying the role of teacher manager.The main conclusions of this study include: the application of project-based learning in junior high school geography is still in the exploratory stage,the implementation of project-based learning in geography teaching mainly needs the support of experts and scholars,schools,parents and so on.This paper discusses the design and implementation strategy of project learning in geography teaching in junior high school.The innovation of this paper lies in the innovation of the research method.The present situation of the implementation of project-based learning in junior high school geography teaching is analyzed by questionnaire,and on this basis,the detailed implementation strategies of project-based learning in junior high school geography teaching are put forward.
