With the improvement of people's living standards,and in the context of having basic material needs been met,people began to focus on physical exercise to maintain healthy.Physical exercise plays an important role in improving the physical health of adolescents,and extracurricular sports is the main way for teenagers to carry out physical exercise.Studies have shown that parents,as the guardians of students,their attitudes will affect students to participate in extracurricular sports activities in different ways,such as athletic ability,positive degree and so on.Therefore,this paper conducts an investigation on the attitudes of parents to the extracurricular sports activities,and analyzes whether the parents' cognition,emotion and behavior directly affect the students,explores the reasons,clarifies the relationship,then gives the corresponding suggestions in combination with the reality,which has certain research value.This paper mainly adopts two methods to carry on the research:the literature method and the questionnaire survey method.First of all,the paper consults a large number of relevant literature at home and abroad to define what extracurricular sports activities,student participation,attitude are,and then extracts the literature which can provide the relevant arguments and determine the direction of research,finally obtains data through the questionnaire survey from students' parents in Lin An City Jin Cheng Town middle schools.Through exploratory factor analysis on the relevant parameters from the data in the way of SPSS 19.0,the attitudes of parents to the extracurricular sports activities are divided into three dimensions:cognition,emotion and behavior.With the analysis by independent sample t test,one-way ANOVA and regression analysis,the conclusions are as follows:? there are no significant differences in cognition among children of different sexes,but there are significant differences in emotion and behavior;?there are no significant differences in cognition,emotion and behavior whether he or she is the only child;?children in different grades can affect parents' cognition,behavior and overall attitudes except their emotion;?there are no significant differences in cognition,behavior and overall attitudes among parents who had different experiences in the past,except their emotion;?there are no significant differences in emotional,behavioral and general attitudes among parents of different occupations,but there are significant differences in cognition;?parents of different diplomas have no significant differences in emotion and behavior,but cognition;?parents with different household monthly incomes have no significant differences in cognition and emotion,except behavior;?cognition,emotion and behavior are positively correlated with the overall evaluation,and the effect of emotion on the overall evaluation is the greatest.Finally,according to the investigation and analysis,combined with the actual situation of the local,the paper gives the following feasible suggestions:? change the traditional concept of parents through the publicity;? praise or reward for parents'attention to sports;?increase parents' personally participation in sports activities to enrich their sports experience;? establish a communication mechanism to change parents' awareness;?encourage parents to take a low-cost form of exercise.
