Since Bandura,the famous American psychologist,firstly put forward the conception ’Perceived Self-efficacy’(PSE),it has received extensive attention from society.PSE which is closely related to our study,work and life,is the perception of one’s effectiveness or ability in certain areas,it is a manifestation of individual self-perception.With the deepening of the educational reform and the education for all-around development,domestic educational researchers have put more extensive studies on it.Among them,Perceived Academic Self-efficacy(PASE)in History plays an important role in history learning and academic achievement.However,in the process of the deepening of the educational reform and the education for all-around development,because of lacking of students and low performance,low-performing senior high school students encounter much more learning difficulties than other students,such as lacking of learning motivation and weak foundation of learning.To solve the above learning problems,it is very necessary and urgent to improve students’ PASE in History.In order to comprehend the status PASE in History of low-performing senior high school students,the paper draws up he scale on PASE in History,which is resting on the characteristics of history learning and learners and adapted from Schwarzer’s General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES).99 students from Grade 2013,Guangzhou No.81 Middle School have been investigated in use of the questionnaire.The results show that low-performing senior high school students’:(1)PASE in History is at pretty low level;(2)dispersion degree of PASE in History is low;(3)PASE in History has obviously positive correlation with academic achievement in History,based on which,the paper conjectures the increase of PASE in History will improve academic achievement in History.According to the above results,the paper recommends the Mind Map in History classes for experiment at Class 3,the experience group and compares the results to Class 2,the control group.The experiment results show that:(1)about PASE in History:Mind Map can improve students’ PSE in History;(2)About academic achievement in History:the increase of PASE in History will improve academic achievement in History.Finally,the paper recommends the Mind Map for the learning in History for high school,low-performing senior high school especially.It is not only good for improving the academic achievement in History of low-performing senior high school students,but also good for teaching optimization and more important,good for students’ autonomic learning and integrated development.
