“The structure and property of Substance” is the key point and difficult points in the chemistry field of senior high school.It is the understanding of the law of composition of matter from the atomic and molecular levels.By exploring the relevant properties of different types of substances,which can improve the students’ ability of analyzing and solving problems.Although the "substance structure" is relatively difficult to understand,its knowledge also has a certain degree of coherence and systematism.As long as teachers help students to organize scattered knowledge points into a network system to help students find proper ways to learn “The structure and property of substance”,this will gradually reduce the difficulty of this part in students’ hearts and improve their interests of learning chemistry.Based on the above teaching situation,the article has a practical study of the teaching effect about Mind Mapping on the of elective 3 "The Structure and property Of Substance".In the light of this topic.Firstly,collect and search related literature at home and abroad to define the concept of mind maps.Secondly,on the basis of literature review,introduce the scope and methods of mind maps in teaching and select related content them to practical application.Finally,after the teaching practice,the effect of practice is tested through personal interviews and questionnaire surveys,and conclusions are drawn through data analysis.The practical results show that Mind Mapping can optimize teachers’ teaching programs,help teachers clear up teaching ideas in time,achieve their teaching goals,and improve teaching efficiency.At the same time,Mind Mapping can improve students’ learning efficiency and give a better way to cultivate the subjectivity of students in the classroom and develops students’ divergent thinking and arouses students’ interests in learning chemistry.In a manner of speaking,the results of using mind maps for us are obvious.It is effective to integrate mind mapping into classroom teaching strategies.However,due to the limitations of the study time and the number of studies,the content of the study has yet to be improved in the future.
