In the modern high school of Chinese education,the liberal arts class does not need to participate in the college entrance examination,but it requires academic examinations.Therefore,it is very necessary for liberal arts students to learn about biology.Based on the characteristics of the biology department in the teaching of high Chinese science classes,using the corresponding teaching strategies to scientifically teach students biology can improve the effectiveness of the biology teaching in the liberal arts class.In order to study the status quo of biology teaching in high Chinese subjects,a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the condition of biological learning in the arts classes of secondary schools attached to Henan Normal University.After investigation and research,it was found that factors influencing the effectiveness of liberal arts teaching in liberal arts classes include two factors: student factors and teachers.factor.In terms of student factors:(1)Liberal arts students have a certain degree of learning motivation in learning biology,but the motivation is not sufficient;(2)Liberal arts students' biological performance is mostly concentrated in the middle and lower reaches and their learning base is poor;(3)liberal arts students Students are not confident in learning about biology;(4)liberal arts students generally do not attach importance to the Department of Biology;(5)bad mood of liberal arts students seriously affect the state of learning biology.In terms of teacher factors:(1)Insufficient teaching experience of liberal arts teachers;(2)Traditional teaching concepts of liberal arts teachers;(3)Teachers of liberal arts classes often adopt the "duck-feeding" teaching method to infuse knowledge into students;(4)Teachers of liberal arts classes The teaching atmosphere is not active enough.Then through a one-year teaching practice,a practical and planned strategy for improving the effectiveness of liberal arts class biology teaching is explored in a targeted and planned way.The main strategies include: preparing before class: clarifying teaching content,formulating teaching plans,and teaching in class: teacher-student collaboration and mutual assistance,Creating a positive atmosphere,enriching teaching methods,and associating daily life;After-school and after-class hours: Leading students to actively participate in practical activities;Probation Examination: Teaching students to review error-correcting reflections and test-taking mentality skills.Finally,statistical analysis method and comparative analysis method were used to analyze the changes in the students' biological learning after the implementation of teaching strategies.The results showed that:(1)The attitude of students of liberal arts classes in learning about biology has improved and their interest in learning has increased;(2)The ability of students of liberal arts classes to learn biology has improved and their learning confidence has increased;(3)Students' academic performance in biological studies Some improvements have been made,and the enthusiasm for learning has been significantly improved.(4)Liberal arts students have a deeper understanding of life and can use dialectical perspectives to view problems.Studies have shown that it is necessary for biology teachers to change the current state of biology teaching in the liberal arts class and improve the effectiveness of biology teaching.
