In recent years,as China's economic and social progress and development,China's education has entered a new era of development.Advocating quality education and improving the quality of the whole people are put on the agenda.Art education is an important way and means to implement quality education.In our country,rural education is the foundation of the whole country's education.The development of the rural school art education is related to whether the quality of the whole people in our country has been improved,whether the children in the countryside can enjoy a fair education opportunity,and whether the teenagers can get the free and comprehensive development.But for many reasons,the rural art education in our country is far behind the urban art education,and many problems in the unfairness of education remain to be solved.The existence of these problems seriously affects and restricts the development of education in our country.According to the cultural characteristics of the ethnic minority areas in Kaili,Guizhou,this article visits the education managers,teachers,parents and students,and the rural cadres in the rural areas.From the classroom teaching of art and education,the form and content of the curriculum,the design of the curriculum,the teaching field and the teaching equipment,and the teachers of the class.The situation and other aspects are investigated in detail to understand the current situation of the school art education in the rural areas,to find out the problems in the art education in this area,and to put forward the reasons for restricting the development of art education in the region from the aspects of economic development and social development,the situation of educational resources,and people's ideas.This paper focuses on the development of rural art education in this area,and puts forward the appropriate methods of changing the ideas of managers,teachers,parents and students,strengthening the construction of teachers,improving the professional quality of teachers,increasing the input of art education facilities,establishing a sound system,and developing national culture according to the characteristics of the region.The strategy for the development of local rural art education.Through the study of these problems,the paper tries to provide some reference for the local rural art education and the development of rural art education in minority areas.
