With the popularization of educational informatization,online learning supported by information technology has brought about the scale of education in a wider space and time.Today,online video lectures have became a common form of learning.How to improve the learner's learning effect in the video course and combine with the learner's characteristics to realize the personalized learning is more and more concerned by people,and the feedback in the learning process is an important factor influenced this learning.Effective feedback can help learners to consolidate their learning content in time,stimulate learning motivation and and satisfaction,and promote learning outcomes.At present,there are no consistent conclusions about different types of feedback research in the environment of online learning.Research on the role of feedback on different learners is also lacking.Therefore,this study conducted an experimental study of undergraduate students'subjects through the learning environment of online video lectures and the subject of scientific sports knowledge.It systematically examined the effect of feedback and different types of feedback on learner learning outcomes and attentional processing of different learning styles.This research was provided references for how to achieve suitable and personalized feedback.The paper included three sub-studies.Study 1 mainly explored whether the feedback in the online video lectures can affect learners learning of different learning styles.This study used 2(learning style:active,reflective)× 2(feedback type:feedback,non-feedback)in the design of between-subjects,and the feedback group is provided detailed explanation feedback.The results showed that all learners were better in the feedback group in test scores;In terms of learning satisfaction,active learners have significantly higher learning satisfaction than reflective learners,regardless of whether they have feedback or not.Study 2 mainly explored the impact of different complexity of feedback in online video lectures on learners learning in different learning styles.This study used 2(learning style:active,reflective)× 3(feedback complexity:answer right or wrong,correct answer,and detailed explanation)in the design of between-subjects.As a result,it was found that in the processing of attention to feedback information,the learner in the detailed explanation group was significantly higher than the answers right or wrong group.There are no significant differences between feedback groups in test scores.In terms of internal learning motivation and learning satisfaction,active learners were best in the correct answer group,and reflective learners were best in the answers right or wrong group.Study 3 mainly explored the impact of encouraging feedback in online video lectures on learners learning in different learning styles.This study used 2(learning style:active,reflective)× 2(with or without encouraging feedback)in the design of between-subjects.The results showed that all learners were better at encouraging feedback groups in test scores and attention processing of feedback information;in terms of internal learning motivation,active learners were significantly better in the encouraging feedback group,reflective learners were slightly better in the without encouraging feedback group.In summary,the study found that:(1)In online video lectures learning,providing detailed explanation feedback compared to no feedback can improve the learner's academic performance.(2)The detailed explanation feedback is more beneficial to learners' attention processing than the answers right or wrong feedback.(3)Providing encouraging feedback can facilitate learners' attention processing and improve learners'memory and understanding of learning content.(4)Feedback can improve learner motivation and promote their learning satisfaction.Among them,active learners can improve motivation levels and satisfaction when providing correct answers feedback and encouraging feedback,while reflective learners can only improve their motivation level and satisfaction when providing feedback on answer right or wrong feedback.Therefore,the feedback design in the online video lectures needs to provide suitable feedback in combination with the learning style characteristics of different learners to improve the learning effect of each learner.
