In recent years,as countries and societies have paid close attention to education,parents' educational concepts have also changed,quality education reforms have emerged,and the integration of tourism and education has followed the trend.The Ministry of Education has successively introduced a number of policies to promote them.A group of research and tourism pilot cities including Xi'an,Hefei,Shanghai,and Suzhou were identified.The tourism product,which is a combination of tourism and education,has been widely welcomed.While the continuing growth in the study market,the increasing demand for study travel,and the tremendous opportunities for development in study travel,the situation of collective study travel for the purpose of school education for school collectives and students' is not optimistic,especially with the open democratic collective activity decision-making environment in school.In this case,the participation rate of study trips for primary and secondary school students is not high,their motivation is not strong,students' participation in study trips is blocked,and collective participation in study travel is not effective.This has created new challenges for students in collective study travel.Therefore,it is of great practical significance and academic value to explore the status quo and influencing factors of the participation of study travel for primary and middle school students in order to solve the difficulties of participating in study travel.Study travel is not only a kind of naturalism education and life education,but also a kind of leisure education.For students,they can achieve study and travel at the same time,realize the unity of education and leisure.Based on the peculiarities of study travel,the study takes the theory of pedagogy and leisure as the theoretical basis for study travel,uses the theory of leisure motivation and restraint to study the influencing factors of the participation of study travel by primary and middle school students,and explains the reasons for the study travel by motivation and restriction.Through the literature research and in-depth interview method,we constructed an index system of motivation and constraints for the study travel,conducted an empirical study with Xiangtan City as a case study and used quantitative tools such as SPSS 17.0 and AMOS 22.0 to quantify the variable relationship among study motivation,restrictions,and participation,determine the participation motivation and restriction factor index system,measure the force of motivation and constraint and constructe the hierarchical model of the factors influencing the study travel for primary and middle school students in Xiangtan.The survey found that students' motivation has a significant positive impact on participation and restrictions have a significant negative impact on participation,with the sample of primary and middle school students in Xiangtan City.The key influence factors showed that the motives of students were mainly from their own knowledge,external influences from family and school,and their self-improvement.The constraints were mainly due to external influences such as time,external influences from family and school,and travel conditions.Motivational and restrictive force results show that the motivational of students are 2.897,which is stronger than the constraints on the participation of the study tour(-2.191).Based on the hierarchical model above,two conclusions were drawn that the potential of the academic travel market for primary and middle school students in Xiangtan City is huge,and the participation of primary and middle school students in Xiangtan City is hindered.There are some suggestions proposed below.Develope students focused edutainment study travele product system to strengthen students'participation motivation,strengthen students' extrinsic motivation with the help of the influence of schools and parents,put forward reasonable arrangements for study travel time to solve time constraints,break the traditional concept of family members to solve external constraints and oncentrate on solving travel restrictions,with which three suggestions to reduce students' esistance in study travel participation.
