Cognitive development is one of the hot topics in the current domestic education community.Its value is not only reflected in the current development of children,but also in the sense of lifelong development.The pre-school level of cognition can predict school education in elementary and high schools,and its influence can even extend to young children.The physical and spiritual factors in the family grow up with children.Every moment affects the growth and development of young children.The study focused on 104 middle-school children.The current situation of child cognition and family cultural capital and the relationship between the two are discussed,and the following conclusions are drawn:1.The overall level of child cognition development is high,and development is better is the spatial cognition and quantity cognition.There is no significant difference in the level of cognitive development among children of different genders.There were significant differences in time perception among children of different months of age,and there were no significant differences in spatial cognition,quantitative cognition,and analogical reasoning.The average development of the children in the high-age was higher than that in the low-age group.2.Cultural capital development is relatively good.There are certain differences in all dimensions of family cultural capital.There are differences in the overall level of cognition,and temporal cognition levels among children with different parental degrees.There are differences in the overall level of cognition,spatial cognition,and temporal cognition levels among children with different parent occupations.The average monthly household income affects the children’s spatial cognition,quantity cognition,and cognitive cognition.3.There is a significant positive correlation between children’s spatial cognition and institutionalized capital and objective capital;Children’s quantitative cognition,time cognition,analogical reasoning and institutionalized capital are significantly positively correlated;There is no significant difference in cultural capital of children’s families in the spatial cognitive level.There is a significant difference in the objective capital of the infants’ family in the quantitative cognitive level.There is a significant difference in the objective capital of children’s families in the time cognitive level.
