Research On The Evolution Of Rural Settlement Spatial Form In Anning Town,Xichang

With the acceleration of urbanization,the disorderly expansion of cities,the migration of rural population to cities,the changes of traditional agricultural production methods and farmers' lifestyles,the spatial forms of rural settlements have also undergone tremendous changes.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the evolution of the spatial form of rural settlements in order to solve the environmental and land problems encountered in the development of rural settlements' spatial level.This paper firstly takes Anning Town,Xichang City,Sichuan Province as the research object,and selects the remote sensing images of the four-phase Anning Town in 2007,2010,2013 and 2016,and uses GIS technology to obtain the spatial form of the settlement.Secondly,the landscape pattern index is used to analyze the evolution trend of rural settlement form in the process of time change,and analyze its evolution process,and further explore its driving force.The research structure shows that :(1)In the view of morphology,there are mainly three types of rural settlement in Anning Town,Xichang city: surface settlement,zonal settlement and scattered settlement.Among them,the planar settlements accounts the dominate status.Otherwise,the main development trend of rural settlements in Anning Town in the form of space is outward extension,expansion,spread,and growth,and the form of settlement is gradually regularized and ordered.(2)In the analysis of landscape pattern index,the development of rural settlement space in Anning Town of Xichang City has experienced three stages.The first stage is the period of rapid development,the second stage is the stage of slow development,and the third stage is the stage of gentle development;(3)In the view of internal and external drive mechanism,the relationship between various influencing factors and the spatial evolution of rural settlements is positively related to the population size,per capita income level,population flow,industrial structure,infrastructure construction,and the spatial evolution of rural settlements.(4)By analyzing and comparing of the number of rural settlements and the average growth rate of the total settlement area in Anning Town,the result show that,the evolution direction of rural settlements in Anning Town is in the direction of the southwest.(5)The evolution rule of the spatial patterns of rural settlements in Anning Town is: due to the combined effect of internal and external driving forces,rural settlements in Anning Town develop mainly toward the southwest.In the process of development,the rate of development of settlements gradually decreases,and the spatial distribution of settlements tends to become more concentrated and uniform.Moreover,the shape of the settlement boundary gradually develops toward regularization and orderly development.To sum up,the rural settlements in Anning Town are on the whole growing and orderly..
