Research On The Traditional Settlement Pattern Of Haikou

Traditional settlements are the product of the long-term development of China's farming civilization and are the wisdom of the ancestors.As the southernmost island in China,Hainan has long summers without sunshine,plenty of sunshine,and coconut winds.Due to historical and geographical reasons,it has been isolated overseas since ancient times and is an undeveloped and polluted island in China.It is praised as“the South China Sea"."Pearl" is a paradise on earth;today Haikou,as the political and cultural economic center of Hainan Province,is an important node that affects the development of Hainan Island's traditional settlements,and it is also the largest traditional settlement in Hainan Island since the establishment of the administrative system.Haikou traditional settlements are widely distributed and have distinctive regional features.Due to differences in natural conditions,historical culture,and clan beliefs,Haikou settlement form shows different characteristics in space.The characteristics of Haikou' traditional settlements are systematically analyzed.The main purpose and content of this article.This article takes Haikou's traditional settlements and traditional village settlements as research objects and studies its settlement patterns.It comprehensively expounds the formation of settlement patterns through the analysis of the natural conditions,historical context,and the creation of thoughts and spatial components of the traditional settlements in Haikou.Reasons to explore the similarities and differences between the traditional settlements in Haikou.It is hoped that Haikou and its neighboring regions will provide reference for the development of“ecologically civilized villages " and "shared farms "and the protection of ancient villages and ancient buildings.Thesis research is divided into the following three parts:The first part is basic research.It gives a comprehensive explanation of the background,purpose,significance,research status,research content,research methods,and technical route of the thesis topic.The second part is the historical research.Starting from the object and carrier of the study,taking the Haikou traditional settlement as the research object,the study area is combed from the historical context,and from the time dimension,the settlement formation and transmutation characteristics of Haikou are summarized.The third part is the comparative study.Through the comparison of the ideological comparison of the traditional settlements in Haikou and the composing elements of the spatial form,a comparative analysis is made from the settlement site selection thoughts to the morphological constituents.The reasons for the formation of Haikou's traditional settlements are discussed.The village form categorizes and protects it.
