Spatial Analysis Of Chongqing Mountain Traditional Settlement

Chongqing is located in China's southwest,surrounding around qinling,yunnan-guizhou plateau,the hengduan mountains and the Tibetan plateau,west near the sichuan basin,it's topography is very complex,low mountains and hills are all over of the city,known as the "mountain city".Chongqing is a city with a long cultural history,in the long course of history,a large number of traditional settlements are formed,and among them a lot of settlements are still remained.As a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic mixed city,Chongqing traditional settlements Contains a unique cultural charm.The generation and development of Chongqing mountain traditional settlements contain countless wisdom and exquisite craftsmanship of ancestors,through the space analytic of traditional settlements and depth analysis of traditional settlements impact factor,morphological structure,spatial elements and deconstruction of the settlement space,the settlement space problems in protection are summarized and then we can put forward relevant countermeasures to offer reference basis for the protection of traditional settlement.First,this paper introduces the whole general situation of chongqing mountain traditional settlements,and then from two perspective of traditional mountain town and village,corresponding to selected the two case-Gongtan town and Longtang village,respectively about their background conditions,the space form and space factor are analyzed.Based on the chongqing mountain landform characteristics,in the space form analytical,the paper innovatively joined the condition of vertical space.Spatial elements are emphasized from four aspects of the streets,buildings,node space and landscapeenvironment.Finally,through detailed analysis of two cases,the article summarized the similarities and differences between the two and their respective problems in the space protection and put forward the feasible method.
