Research On The Ability Of Social Work To Intervene In Community Residents' Autonomy

Under the background of social governance system innovation,the government has put forward the conception of residents' autonomy in order to improve the level of democratic development.Residents' autonomy is an important methods of community construction,the success of autonomy also affects the process of community development to a certain extent.However,the realization of community-resident autonomy is not accomplished overnight,but requires constant attempts and explorations by all levels of subjects.From the perspective of social workers,the social work is more like a catalyst,promoting the ability of residents autonomy and promoting the development of residents autonomy.So,how do social work get involved in building capacity for community autonomy,and to solve the problem of resident autonomy is a very urgent problem in front of social workers.This paper takes R enterprise-owned community as an example,based on the practical experience of social work involved in community residents' autonomy construction,using participatory observation method,semi-structured interview method,based on the data that collected in the previous investigation.This paper analysis of the present situation and influencing factors from the perspective of social work and provides services by methods of social work.Under the background,puts forward some suggestions to solve the problems.Through the investigation of residents in R enterprise-owned community,it is found that the deficiency of residents' autonomy is mainly reflected in the following aspects: avoid contradictions and have low communication efficiency in communication skills;lack of planning and low work efficiency in organizational management capabilities;lack of consciousness and methods in resource aggregation and conversion capabilities.In order to respond to the needs of residents,under the guidance of the empowerment theory,social workers use the method of carrying out the activities of residents' autonomy groups and linking resources as auxiliary to achieve the purpose of enhancing residents' autonomy ability.Meanwhile,summarize the effectiveness of intervention services and issues that arise.Through summing up the effectiveness and problems of social work in the construction of community residents' autonomy,the following conclusions are drawn.Firstly,the method of social work should be used to help the community residents to build their autonomous capacity.Use case work to solve individual problems,use group work to cultivate community leaders and use community work to promote mutual help.Secondly,we should promote residents' participation in solving community problems and constantly enhance residents' awareness of participating in community affairs;use Internet technology to strengthen residents' contacts,follow the principles of social work to encourage residents to participate,and assess autonomy to stimulate residents' initiative.Finally,we should strengthen the training of residents and social workers;establish community libraries,invite experts to give lectures on relevant knowledge,and give full play to the individual advantages of social workers.
