| The basic education reform calls for the professional development of teachers,and the best way for teachers’ professional development is self-development.Small-subject research originated in primary and secondary schools,stemmed from teachers’ reflection and questioning of own educational work and practice.It is an effective way for teachers’ self-development.Compared with middle and high school teachers,primary school teachers are relatively weak in research ability,and their enthusiasm for research is slightly lower;therefore,their self-development abilities more desperately need training and promotion.Small-subject research is starting in Haikou City now.It is of great significance to find the carrying methods,guarantee implementation effects,and explore suitable implementation paths on primary teachers.On the basis of other scholars’ questionnaires,this study designed “primary school teachers’ small-subject research questionnaire in Haikou city’’,using questionnaire star and We Chat to survey Haikou primary teachers,and collected 313 effective questionnaires.According to the reliability analysis of the questionnaire by SPSS17.0,the Cronbach’s Alpha was 0.865;therefore,the questionnaire has high internal consistency and the reliability is acceptable.The questionnaire data are made quantitative analysis by SPSS,the drawing works are carried out by Excel,and the question-answer item is made by qualitative analysis.This paper investigates and analyzes primary teachers’ current research status,the conditions,difficulties and demands of carrying small-subject research on Haikou primary teachers.After investigation,it has been learned that Haikou primary school teachers already have the conditions for research,but there still exist some hindering problems,such as insufficient understanding of small-subject research,lack of research motivation,research time,and research supports.These problems are caused by the factors of teachers themselves,as well as schools and research organizational management departments.Based on the above investigations,the paper puts forward strategies from the aspects of the research organizational management departments,schools and teachers: 1.Researchorganization management department should step up publicity and interpretation of the small-subject research,set up reasonable and efficient operation mode,provide timely and thoughtful technical services,create humane supervision method,display and promote the small-subject research in multiple ways.2.Schools should establish and improve research rules and regulations especially the incentive system,implement conditions guarantee and create a research atmosphere,grasp the content of the research subject and deepen the significance,and create research communities to help each other.3.Teachers should enhance awareness of problems and strive to grow independently,construct knowledge system and improve research ability,optimize research method to realize the combination of teaching and research,and expand research ideas and form personal characteristics. |
