This paper is a thematic study on how to cultivate the key competencies of mathematics subjects for high school students ba sed on the des ign,appli cation and evalu ation of the learning guide of key competencies of mathematics mubjects in high school.The key competencies of mathematics,a relatively new concept,is a popular word in recent years,which comes from the ten core concepts proposed in the "Mathem atics Curricul um Standar ds on Compulso ry Ed ucation"(2011).The "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards"(2017)outlines the six major modules of high school mathematics subjects: mathematics abstraction,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling,intuitive imagination,mathematical operations,and data analysis.How to compile the learning guide based on the key competencies of mathematics subjects in high school to cultivate the key competencies of mathematics subjects for high school students is the focus of this study.Learning guide is the necessary tool for teacher teaching and student learning in the guidance-based teaching model.The quality of design and the effect of its use is the key to effective classroom teaching.The learning guide involved in this article mainly include three categories,namely,the new lesson learning guide,the review lesson learning guide,and the evaluation lesson learning guide.The new lesson learning guide focuses on the meaningful construction of new knowledge,which builds a bridge between students' life and mathematics knowledge,and helps students to experie nce differ ent probl em situa tions so that they can unde rstand and m aster the problem.The review lesson learning guide foc uses on the int egrating mathematics know ledge system atically,improving students' ability,guiding learning methods,and broadening students' horizon.The design of evaluation lesson learning guide requires teachers to design teaching objectives for the teaching situation reasonably,which corrects students' knowledge defects and turns their thought to high-level concept.Teachers need to design the learning guide meticulously and give full play to its role as a “road map”,adjust teaching strategies in a timely and flexible manner,and be a good organizer,supervisor,and gui der.In add ition,this paper puts for ward some sugge stions for improvement in the use of the learning guide of key competencies of mathematics subjects in high school.On the issue of how to determine the evaluation criteria for learning guide based on the key competencies of mathematics subjects,the study from the aspects of design quality,use effect,and evaluation of teacher-student teaching and learning based on the key competencies of mathematics subjects,the learning guide is evaluated through investigation,observation,testing,and self-evaluation.The purpose of this study is to propose effective suggestions for the design and application of high school mathematics learning guide to improve the teaching of high school mathematics learning guide in order to cultivate high school students' key competencies of mathematics subjects by studying the learning guiding based on the key competencies of mathematics subjects as well as linking the theory of learning guide with the actual practice of high school mathematics teaching.
