Internet public opinion is a product of the times with a high degree of social development and the popularization of the internet.Its manifestations are diverse.Among numerous manifestations,internet public opinion in universities is an important and special component,because its main body of manufacture is a group with a significant number of advantages.It is a group with a high level of knowledge and active thinking,which will have a strong influence on the society.It will have serious social influences if the internet public opinion in universities did not control timely.Therefore,how to carry out the reasonable management and control over internet public opinion in universities has drawn extensive attention and has also become the focus of controversy among different administrative departments and researchers.Screening internet topics in universities correctly and timely,conducting early warning of internet public opinions,and guiding the speech behaviors of students can not only promote the healthy development of universities and students,but also is the objective requirements of building a harmonious society with Chinese ad hoc socialism.With the rapid development of the internet and the sudden rise of social software on mobile phones,internet communication platforms have become the main channel for information dissemination.The communications between people are mainly based on the mobile networks,especially "WeChat".Therefore,this paper studies the regulation and control strategy of internet public opinion in universities based on WeChat platform,and finally puts forward effective suggestions to help grasp the dynamics of internet public opinion accurately in universities and guide the development direction of internet public opinion in universities correctly.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic,research status in domestic and foreign,research ideas and methods as well as the innovative points and deficiencies of the research.The second chapter is about the concept and characteristics of WeChat and internet public opinion especially internet public opinion in universities,and elaborates the basic principles of internet public opinion management and control;the third chapter analyzes the use of WeChat,the specific case of Internet public opinion based on WeChat,the influence of WeChat platform on the internet public opinion regulation and control in universities and the measures our country has taken to control the internet public opinion on WeChat.The fourth chapter analyzed the experience of foreign countries in guiding and controlling internet public opinion in universities and the method of internet public opinion management based on internet platform.It summarizes some enlightenment for our country's internet public opinion management based on WeChat platform.Based on the summary of domestic and foreign experience,the analysis of case and reference documents,the fifth chapter summarizes the management and control measures for the internet public opinion in universities based on WeChat platform and effectively guides the direction of internet public opinion development in universities.
