Since the reform and opening-up,social organizations in our country have entered their rapid development period. This is not only the result of their complying with political and economic reforms, but also the inevitable process of development and self-satisfaction of civil society. But what we should not ignore is that this is as well influenced by China’s active opening-up and international civil societies.Under such circumstance of imperfect management system and insufficient resources, the intervention of many international non-governmental organizations has exerted great influences on the development of gross-root organizations in China. However, micro and detailed researches on what influences they have on these organizations are far from enough.Based on such knowledge, the author, employing participant observation, deep interview and analysis, makes a case study of G Northeast gross-root environmental organizations which have received international funding so as to find out the real influences the intervention of international resources has exerted. In the process of investigation and study,G organization has received a large amount of international funding for a long time, which is of some significance, but at the same time manifests some potential negative influences.Specifically speaking, such dependence on external supply more or less hinders the insertion of gross-root organizations into local social relations. On one hand, the dependence on external supply,by means of influencing G’s external cognition and strategy choices, lowers local governments’ trust degree in gross-root organizations and impaired their benefit foundation of building relations, which,to some extent, has resulted the organizations’ upward de-insertion;on the other hand, the dependence on external supply, through changing G’s operation directions and management structures, reduces their willingness and ability to insert local citizens and presents downward insertion to some degree. Thus,G takes on double de-insertion with local social relations. The proposed research is not to deny the positive influences of international resources, but to reveal the potential danger they have on G’s insertion into local relations through the summarization and analysis of such a case study. It is intended to take a dialectic look at such phenomenon and call for the optimization of local systems and resources as well as the self-consciousness of gross-root organizations to make them really based on the local. If previous researches demonstrate the positive influences of international support through relatively positive case studies, the thesis will present the potential negative influences of international support from another perspective through a typical case study. As a case study, the conclusions of the thesis can’t represent the overall situation, but they are of exploring significance.
