Under the background of New Curriculum reform, there are few thesis probed into the question that how ideologies were embedded into the Chinese teaching textbooks from the perspective of sociology. Ideology refers to the criterion and guiding principles that instruct people to develop their outlook of the world, the overall view of value and the outlook on life. It is loaded in various carriers and being took in in transmission by people. To research how the ideologies was embedded into the Chinese teaching textbooks is to prevent the textbooks from being too preaching with political doctrines and rigid with inculcating education. The Chinese teaching textbooks should be the one that serves like a key which can unleash the knowledge of language, literature and culture should be the one can help the students develop their literature intuition with its vast content of knowledge. Therefore, on the basis of admitting the rationality of the ideology embedding, I think that the way to embed ideology should be immersion and unconsciously influenced.This thesis is consist of 3parts, the introduction, the main body text and the conclusion. The introduction is mainly the explanation of choosing this study and the background of current research and my research methodology.The main body text is made up by four parts.The first part specifically defined the terminology-ideology. The definition firstly explained the concept and made a distinction and a contrast between ideology and morality, social ideology, social consciousness. And explored the functions and types of ideologies. Lastly it elaborated the relationship between ideology and curriculum.The second part unveiled the ideology in the textbook and gave a detailed description of the types of ideologies. It elaborated the average ways to embed ideologies into textbooks and analyzed their functions.The third part analyzed the current background of ways to embed ideologies. This part sums up of the ways to embed ideologies into textbooks on the basis of making a combining analysis of the chines teaching textbooks come out from Peoples’Education Press and Suzhou Education Press respectively.The forth part explored what the ways to embed ideologies ought to be in the Chinese teaching textbooks. Firstly, in view of the existing primary school language teaching material the critique and prospect in the form of ideology embedded think elementary school Chinese teaching textbooks should play its humanistic feature. Secondly based on the ideology of this moisture type embed mode, to effectively explore the teachers’ teaching strategies.
