"the Belt and Road" is a strategic initiative put forward by President Xi Jinping during his visit to Kazakhstan and Indonesia in 2013.The essence is to realize the interconnection between the Asia-Europe continent and the nearby oceans through "the Belt and Road" and establish a new type of international relations with win-win cooperation as the core."the Belt and Road" is a huge project that spans Asia,Europe and Africa,and spans Asian,Islamic and European civilizations.Over the past four years,more than 100 countries and international organizations around the world have actively supported and participated in the construction of the "the Belt and Road".Important resolutions such as the United Nations General Assembly and the United Nations Security Council have also been included in the construction of "the Belt and Road".The construction of "the Belt and Road" has gradually transformed itself from concept to action,from the vision to the reality,has yielded fruitful results."the Belt and Road" has a large implementation pattern,covering a wide range of topics and many disciplines connected to it.Tourism geography is one of them."the Belt and Road" covers a wide range of geographical areas covering 18 coastal provinces along the border with Xinjiang and Fujian as the core areas,seven highland cities in the Midwest,15 ports along the coast,and65 countries along the route.These areas are rich in tourism resources,tourism has an important impact on the local social,economic,natural environment and human environment.The terrain,climate,characteristics of tourism resources,and tourism landscape features in the region are all important contents of the tourism geography curriculum.Therefore,"the Belt and Road" has inseparable links with the tourism geography curriculum.However,the current teaching of tourism geography has not paid enough attention to "the Belt and Road".Firstly,there is very little knowledge about the "the Belt and Road" in the teaching materials.Secondly,"the Belt and Road" in the teaching process has passed,and it has not been extended to do in-depth explanation.This results in students lacking a deep understanding of the "the Belt and Road",lacking political awareness and general awareness,and inconsistent with the high school students' training goals — cultivating middle school students with profound national feelings,broad international vision,and brave responsibilities for social responsibility.Therefore,there is an urgent need for educators to optimize the tourism geography curriculum in secondary vocational school and integrate the "the Belt and Road" into the curriculum.This article takes the students and teachers of tourism service and management major in secondary vocational school as research objects,uses questionnaires and interviews to understand the current situation of the setting of the tourism geography curriculum in secondary vocational school and the attitude of students towards learning the "the Belt and Road".Through the data statistics,analysis of the factors affecting the quality of tourism geography curriculum and the shortcomings of the combination of the curriculum and "the Belt and Road",then based on the factors influencing the quality of the curriculum and related theoretical basis puts forward the optimization path of the tourism geography curriculum in secondary vocational schoold,finally develop new teaching design to observe the students' learning effects,in order to provide some reference for the teaching practice of tourism geography curriculum.
