The Study On The Civic Awareness Education Of College Students In The Field Of Network Politics

In recent years,network politics,as a product of "Internet + politics",has become a new form,new channels of citizen's political participation.The study and understanding of the participation of college students in the network politics will provide a new perspective for the analysis and grasp of the status quo of college students' citizen consciousness.And it should also serve as a good starting point to examine the college students' citizen awareness education.This paper tries to reflect on college students' citizen awareness education against the backdrop of the Internet Era,aiming at the problems existing in the college students' citizen awareness education and its causes.Efforts have been made in this paper to put forward countermeasures for the improvement of the education of college students into good citizens.First of all,the relationship between network politics and citizen consciousness has been analyzed.The awakening and enhancement of the citizen consciousness is the major factor for the ushering in of network politics,while on the other hand,this practice promotes and enhances the former.These two factors enhance and promote each other mutually.Second,attention has been focused on the survey of the state of affairs of the participation of politics by college students via internet.Features of their participation have been summed up: their knowledge of internet politics is not intact,they tend to regard internet politics as a positive practice,and their participation is often motivated by intuitional rather than rational factors.The survey gives us some basic idea about the overall participation of college students in internet politics and its problems,like the juxtaposition of consciousness and instinct and the separation between knowledgeand practice.Third,efforts then have been made to reflect on and reexamine the education of college students into good citizens.Many defects have been found and their causes exacted.The major defects include the blurring of the objective and content of the citizen education of college students,the obsoleteness of the education methods,and the weakness of the efficacy of the practice.The causes are as follows: the theoretical research on the citizen education has not received due emphasis,the normative aspects of citizen education have not been worked on,and the general atmosphere and cultural background are lacking.To build a scientific system of college students' citizen awareness education is the key,including the strengthening of the status of the college students' citizen awareness education,the clarification of the goal,the improvement of the college students' citizen awareness education content.Education methods and means of innovation is related to the effects of college students' citizen consciousness,therefore,"three combinations" should be realized: the combination of infusion with guidance,theory with practice,and the traditional methods with network means.
