The Case Work Intervention Study On Social Adaptation Problem Of Secondary Orphan Graduates

Nowadays,orphan groups has become very important.With the continuous development of China's orphans welfare system,the policy support and welfare levels of the orphans have been greatly improved.The continuous improvement of the orphan school education teaching system provides a stable environment for orphan students.However,all the sectors of society has not pay much attention to the orphan graduates.Due to long-term lack of family care and support,the closed life learning environment made the orphans in a low degree of socialization,and made it hard for them to integrate smoothly into the society.The social adaptation problem of orphan graduates has become an urgent problem to be solved.In order to know exactly the orphan graduates' current situation of social adaptation ability,the researcher adopted the adolescent social adaptation scale to investigate the newly graduated orphans and who have graduated for one to two years.According to the analysis of the survey data and the interview data with the students and teachers in orphan school,it has been found that the social adaptation ability of orphan graduates is generally low.At the same time,we analysised the reasons of the orphan graduates' adaptation problems by using the theory of ecosystem,to provide an intervention perspective for subsequent intervention.In terms of specific intervention,this study adopted the case work method to serve the graduate who has serious adaption problem,aiming at using cognitive behavioral therapy mode and rational emotional therapy to correct the cognitive bias,improve the irinterpersonal skills,professional status,and expand the social support networks,which is for fitting into the society better.After closing the case,the researcher assessed the service based on the completion of goals,and discussed the significance of applying the method of case work to the problem of orphan graduates' social adaptation.According to the study,it has bee found that orphan graduates' social adaptation problems are affected by multiple factors.There is a close connection with individual factors,current profession environment,family environment and school environment.What's more,the intervention of case work has effectively improved the cognitive bias,interpersonal situation and the problem on the professional adjustment,which is benefit for the orphan graduates to fit the society better.
