As the basis of other sports,athletics is the title of "Mother of Sport",which plays a prominent role in enhancing the physique of students,cultivating the students ' indomitable will quality and strengthening their physical and mental health level.In recent years,the National college sports work,track and field curriculum development is generally not optimistic,making track and field courses from the past core to the edge.At present,college students generally have a higher physical fitness test results than the final departure of the test result,the university student physique health declining phenomenon,track and field curriculum is not carried out is an important reason.The article adopts the literature method,investigation method,logic method,mathematics method and so on,systematically interprets the present situation of the public athletics course in Henan Province,summarizes its restrictive factors,and puts forward the targeted future development ways.The article mainly draws the following conclusions:1.In the investigation of the 12 colleges and universities in Henan province,some schools lack the leadership of the public sports track and field curriculum attention,teaching supervision is not strict,at the same time,the value of athletics is misunderstood,athletics popularization is insufficient.2.Under the influence of the option class system,the students have a variety of sports courses,because the students lack of understanding of the value of athletics,and the one-sided understanding of track and field courses,as well as the impact of the emerging sports projects,it is difficult to carry out track and field courses.3.Physical education teachers out of the expected work plan to carry out teaching work,track and field teaching materials competitive property,teaching method single and teaching content simple,old,boring,and the way of evaluation is too quantitative,and teaching objectives contradictory;4.In the survey of the 12 undergraduate institutions,each school is equipped with outdoor plastic track and field,only individual schools have indoor track and field,but also only open to professional students,which led to the face of many students,venues and facilities,teaching equipment can not meet the track and field curriculum needs of daily teaching.5.The Society for track and field identification is too low,as well as the lack of publicity for athletics,the weak mass base and the concept of family sports in athletics courses are restricted to a certain extent.In view of the various factors restricting the development of the Athletics course in Henan province,the author suggests that the relevant policy system should be formulated by the competent educational departments of China,and that the public sports courses should be set up in colleges and universities.1.To improve the understanding of school leaders,to eliminate the prejudice against the track and field,to promote the value of athletics,to pay attention to the formation of the track culture,to "compulsory" form of track and field courses,and pay attention to the development of after-school track and field activities,pay attention to the holding of track and2.Strengthen the efforts to guide students to the track and field of "recognition",understand the value of athletics,establish a comprehensive value of athletics,improve students ' interest in athletics.3.Further strengthen the teaching supervision and management and the construction of teachers,physical education teachers should optimize the content of teaching materials,innovate the content,introduce some new items which are safe and controllable,easy to popularize and have practical value,and on the basis of retaining the characteristics of traditional track and field course teaching content,reduce the difficulty and reduce the competition of the project properly,to increase a certain degree of interest,entertainment,teamwork and other aspects of teaching content,and actively explore and innovate teaching methods,establish a reasonable way of evaluation,while increasing the introduction of track and field professionals.4.In the support of the relevant departments,to increase the capital investment in track and field hardware facilities,the introduction of advanced teaching equipment,improve the infrastructure,to give students a good learning environment,improve the track and field curriculum teaching environment.5.To the government-led,through the mass media to promote track and field,set an example of track and field,highlighting the role of the track and field stars to enhance the mass base.
