Past decades having seen ongoing reforms in Wushu education,as one of its branches,Wushu featured schools have also become the focus in the educational circle nationwide.A number of such schools have been built in Henan as implementation of national guidelines for Wushu education to increase its influence as our cultural treasure,and realize its spread culturally at home and abroad.Therefore,Henan has become the pilot province for such specialist schools.It is an important move to bring Wushu into schools so that students of primary and secondary schools can improve health both physically and mentally,and gain more cultural identity and national confidence as well under its influence.Taking current situation into consideration,the paper collected and studied previous research findings and looked into Wushu specialist schools in Henan from various aspects based on literature review,investigation,statistics and from the systematical point of view.And then further researches made on the evaluation index system is to provide theoretical support for future evaluation on such schools in Henan on one hand and guidance for the construction of them on the other.A complete evaluation index system will be important to popularize Wushu in primary and secondary schools and help promote Wushu education in China.And the system can help schools form their own distinctive spiritual culture and realize healthy,harmonious and sustainable development of Wushu education nationwide.The main points of the research are as follows:The first step is to clear understanding of the development goals,the specific requirements for development and the fundamental tasks of the martial arts specialty schools;Secondly,according to the Delphi method,the evaluation index of the specialty schools of Henan Province martial arts was determined,and an evaluation index system for martial arts featured schools including 4 1st level indicators,12 2nd level indicators and 31 3rd level indicators was constructed;Thirdly,the indicator weights are used to consult experts' questionnaires.When the weights of the indicators are determined,the ring-weighted structure method is used to determine the weight coefficient value of each index.The first-level index teaching management is 0.23,the conditional protection is 0.23,the education is 0.28,extracurricular martial arts activity 0.26;Secondary index teaching plan management 0.078,teaching organization management 0.076 and other 12 index weight values;three-level martial arts curriculum syllabus 0.019,martial arts teaching materials 0.020 and other 31 index weight values.Finally,using each index weight to design an empirical score table for martial arts specialty schools in Henan,and to examine the development of specialty martial arts schools in the empirical study.Evaluating the two schools directly proves that the evaluation index system of martial arts specialty schools in Henan Province can be objectively reflected.
