Emotional regulation is the process of individual monitoring emotional response and evaluating the intensity and duration of emotional response.It plays an important role in the development of children's personality and sociality.The study shows that the use of emotion regulation strategies reflects their emotional regulation ability to some extent.Parents,as the main nurturers,play an important role in the development of children's emotional regulation.This study analyzes the current situation of parenting styles,explores the application of emotional regulation strategies,and further explores the relationship between the two.The purpose of this study is to enrich the relevant theoretical research,and to provide enlightenment and thought for the parents of young children.Examination,thus better promote the development of emotional emotion of children and social development.In this study,the parents of 200 preschool children were investigated with the questionnaire of parental rearing style compiled by Yang Lizhu and Yang Chunqing and the questionnaire of emotional regulation strategies of young children compiled by Lu Lingxiong 2011.The main contents of this study are as follows:to explore the differences in the age and sex of children,the education level of parents,the current situation of parental rearing style,and the relationship between emotional regulation strategies and parental rearing styles.The conclusions of the study are as follows:Firstly,the overall situation of parental rearing is good,democratic parenting is the majority,the results were consistent with those obtained by previous researchers.Secondly,parenting style in gender,there is no significant difference on the number of children;democratic parenting style in the existence of significant differences,the level of education in the age of children and parents,children 4-5 years old parents in the highest score on the dimension of democracy,followed by the 3-4 year old group,5-6 age group had the lowest score high;educated parents tend to adopt a democratic parenting style.Third,there is no children in preschool children's emotion regulation strategies on gender differences;problem solving,alternative activities,emotions have significant age differences;emotion regulation strategies exist significant differences in the education level of parents,the higher the level of education of the parents,the children in the cognitive reconstruction,alternative strategies score high,but found in the study,emotion score strategy at the undergraduate level than the junior high school and below level.Fourthly,the democratic nature of the parental rearing pattern is positively correlated with the solution of the problem;The parental rearing pattern was positively correlated with seeking support,passive coping,emotional exhaustion and aggressive behavior.The parental rearing pattern is positively correlated with the problem solving,the substitution activity,the passive coping,the emotional exhaustion and the aggressive behavior.It is positively correlated with passive coping style,emotional discharge,and negative correlation with the problem solving.The non-uniform rearing pattern is positively correlated with passive coping,emotional exhaustion and aggressive behavior,which is negatively related to the problem solving and the substitution activity.In general,indulgence was significantly correlated with emotional regulation strategies in 3-4 years old,while the correlation between 4-5 and 5-6 years old was not significant.There was significant positive correlation between democratic rearing style and children's positive emotion regulation strategy,and between autocratic and inconsistent rearing style and negative emotion regulation strategy.Fifthly,regression found that parental rearing can significantly predict the emotional regulation strategies of young children.Indulgent rearing style and seeking support,passive coping,aggressive behavior have positive predictive effect;Democratic nature has positive predictive effect on problem solving,self-consolation,seeking support,alternative activity,emotion venting;laissez-faire has positive predictive effect on problem solving.Altemative activities,emotional venting,aggressive behavior have a positive predictive effect;autocracy has a positive predictive effect on passive coping.
