For a long time, various kinds of venues represented by museums are the preferred places for parents to conduct scientific education for children.Parents as children's main guides for museum learning, how to guide children to conduct efficient museum learning has become the key. However, the current research on improving children's museum learning is mostly based on the venue's perspective, and they mainly design the development of activities, the production of exhibits, the presentation of exhibits, the display of staff, etc. There is little research on parental guidance that plays an important role.Parenting style as an important manifestation of parental guidance for children, which kind of parenting style is better for high-efficiency museum learning has become the focus of research in the field of museum learning. This study first explored the relationship between parenting styles and children's museum learning from a theoretical perspective. That is,from the perspective of social culture, parenting styles is an important part of children's learning in venues.During children's museum learning, parents are their primary source of advice and interaction, parents' long-term family education and immediate guidance during the visit have played an important role in the learning methods and attitudes of children's museum learning. This study mainly explores differences in learning behaviors of children's museum learning under different parenting styles. In this regard, the "parenting style" and"children's museum learning behavior" of the family group should be separately assessed.Among them, for the division of "parenting styles",the author is based primarily on Maccoby,Martin's classification of parenting style as demanding:control-tolerance,responsiveness:rejection-accepted criteria. Therefore, their parenting styles are divided into authoritarian, authoritative, indulgent, and neglected models, and finally determine the type of family education. For the division of "children's museum learning behavior",the author mainly based on Minda Borun et al.divided the learning behaviors of the venues into three levels:identification, description, interpretation and application.classifying the learning behaviors of children's stadiums and determining the establishment of children's playgrounds in the family.Based on this,we classify the learning behavior of children in museum and determine the level of children's museum learning. On the basis of determining the theoretical framework, this study mainly adopts a conversation-based analysis method to investigate and analyze the children's museum learning behaviors under different parenting styles.According to the established criteria of "parenting style" and "level of children's museum learning behavior",analyze the speech dialogues in the process of museum learning deeply. In conjunction with the specific situation at that time, their speeches were summed up respectively to determine the type of parenting style and the level of children's museum learning.Through statistical analysis of data from multiple groups of households,it was learned that the current parenting styles in the museum is mainly authoritative and indulgent, and the children's level of museum learning in each of the two parenting styles has its own advantages:under the authoritative parenting mode, children's high-level museum learning is better, and children's lower-level museum learning is better under the mode of indulgent parenting mode. This further shows that parents should adjust their requirements for children based on their specific cognitive level.High-demand parenting methods are conducive to the promotion of in-depth museum learning, the less demanding parenting methods can expand children's basic cognitive category of exhibits.
