In the context of the new curriculum reform,scholars from all walks of life put forward more standardized and strict requirements for the professional development of teachers.China has now promulgated relevant laws such as the Education Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Teacher’s Law of the People’s Republic of China,which shows that China has taken the legal point of view to recognize the professionalism of the teaching profession.Needless to say,the special nature of the profession of teachers puts higher demands on teachers in terms of professional qualities and abilities.Teachers play a leading role in education and teaching activities.They are mainly responsible for guiding students to acquire indirect experiences,enlightening students to obtain direct experience,and increasing students’ knowledge reserves.Therefore,teachers’ knowledge and ability should be professionalized.Educators who undertake the task of teaching and educating people should have advanced professional concepts,broad professional knowledge,and tough professional skills.The improvement of the quality of education depends on the development of basic education.Primary school teachers are the founders of basic education and their professionalism is also receiving much attention.This requires the scientific construction of teachers’ professional knowledge,and it is also an inexhaustible motive force for the development of teacher education.Based on this,some developed countries have proposed a great concept of basic education reform: training "general" primary school teachers.Some scholars even believe that the cultivation of general primary school teachers is not only the guiding direction of teacher education,but also a powerful guarantee for improving the quality of basic education.Unlike ordinary primary school teachers,the cultivation of general primary school teachers should focus on professional development.Therefore,the most important task for normal colleges and universities is to build a more standardized and scientific professional knowledge structure system for the normal students of primary school education..In 2012,the Ministry of Education of China promulgated a professional professional standard for elementary school teachers—“Professional Standards for Primary School Teachers(Trial)”,which outlines the professional knowledge of teachers and makes relevant regulations,and puts forward the professional knowledge of teachers.Including pupils’ development knowledge,subject knowledge,education and teaching knowledge as well as general knowledge.However,more and more researchers have proposed in recent years that most of the professional knowledge of teachers comes from pre-service teacher education.Based on this realistic background,this study uses the basic requirements for teachers’ professional knowledge in the "Professional Standards for Primary School Teachers(Trial)" as the basic perspective.The research target is defined as the fourth grade normal university students majoring in primary education at Q University.It mainly adopts a questionnaire survey and is supplemented by interview surveys.It attempts to analyze whether the prospective teachers trained by Q universities meet the basic requirements in the professional standards and understand the status of the professional knowledge of teachers in the process of teacher education in Q universities so as to reveal the influence of teacher professional knowledge.Development factors,and proposed Q University in the future to enhance the general primary school teacher professional knowledge strategy.This study includes both theoretical argumentation and data analysis of survey materials so that readers can fully understand the professional knowledge structure system of primary education general course teachers,hoping to inspire readers and provide teachers new perspectives and new ideas about professional knowledge.
