Group Work Intervenes The Spiritual Comfort Of Lost Mother

The mother who lost her only child is the mother who lost her only child due to various accidents.In the late 70 s of last century,the family planning policy was implemented in our country.Due to the promotion of policies,special family structure was spawned.In the development of society,there is an unpredictable risk.In one child family,the departure of children will lead to a series of problems in the aspects of physiological,psychological,social interaction,cultural leisure and so on.Children have an extraordinary significance for their mothers.Because of the particularity of the service objects,the lost mother is the most vulnerable group,and there is no perfect support for life and spiritual comfort.Therefore,the service to the lost mother is helpful to meet the spiritual comfort needs of the lost mother,and to help them to remould their life goals,to better integrate into the society and to promote social harmony.In the context of the growing expansion of the lost mothers,this study took the mothers of the R community in the R community as an example to investigate and evaluate the spiritual comfort requirements of the lost mothers.It was found that the economic income conditions of the R community lost their mothers were still available,but the physical conditions were not good and the emotional needs were not satisfied.Work intervention will help them out of the shadow of loss of independence and return to a better life.In view of the status quo of the needs of R community lost mothers and the professional methods of social work,the author took 8 mothers as the research object,and carried out six group activities.Through specific practical activities,it helps the lost mother to express his own emotions,relieve the mental pressure,stimulate the desire to communicate with others,expand the social scope of the mother,enrich the daily cultural life,widen the way of leisure,and strengthen the confidence of self recognition and reclaim of the future life.Through practical evaluation,we found that this group activity has achieved the expected goal.One is relieving the mental pressure of the lost mother.The two is to enhance the social integration ability of the lost mother.The three is to enrich the cultural life of the lost mother.The four is to change the idea of the lost mother’s own.However,in order to solve the spiritual solace problem of the lost mother,the following points should be done: first,the government needs to provide policy tilt and increase financial support for the lost mother.Second,increase the professional training of social workers and promote the construction of social work talents.Third,strengthen social work propaganda and create a caring atmosphere in the community.Fourth,set up the concept of self identification of service objects,and enhance the self supporting ability of service objects.
