Labor education is an important part of the comprehensive development of junior middle school students.It plays an important role in improving the work competency of junior middle school students.Although our country pays much attention to the labor education,there are many phenomena in the school curriculum in recent years that neglect the teaching of labor class and take up the other courses in the time of occupying the labor course.In addition,family education is affected by unhealthy social ethos,ignoring students' participation in labor activities,resulting in poor self-care ability and weak hands-on ability.The labor competency of junior middle school students needs to be improved urgently,which is the inevitable requirement of implementing labor education.This study takes the reading literature,questionnaire survey and interview as research methods to carry out an empirical study on the problem of junior middle school students' labor competency,taking the junior middle school students of 3 public schools in Heyuan source and City District of Guangdong Province as the main research object,and to interview the junior middle school teachers in 3 schools.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter puts forward the importance and urgency of the study on the problem of junior middle school students' labor competency,and expounds the origin,purpose and significance of the research.The second chapter briefly reviews and combs the literature related to labor education at home and abroad.On this basis,it analyzes the achievements and shortcomings of the existing research,and puts forward the specific direction in which this article will be deeply studied.The third chapter is to use the tabular method to comb the relevant literature and the documents of Ministry of education,sum up the basic indicators of the junior middle school students' labor literacy,and analyze each index which includes labor cognition level,the labor attitude level and the labor ability level.On the basis of these,a questionnaire is compiled.Taking the junior middle school students of 3 public schools in Yuancheng District of Heyuan as the research object,this paper investigates the status quo of the labor competency of junior middle school students in the public schools of Yuancheng District,and finds that the overalllevel of the junior middle school students' labor competency is generally low and the overall level is not high at all levels.In addition,there are differences in the aspect of “one child” and the status quo of junior middle school students' labor competency in Yuancheng District.Even there is significant difference at all levels rather than in the total score of gender.The forth chapter analyzes the problems of junior middle school students' labor competency,and elaborates the causes of these problems in detail.There are some specific problems.Firstly,on the level of labor ability,school labor education needs to be promoted;junior middle school students have deviations in their understanding of labor classes and collective labor consciousness;the overall level of labor cognition in the lower grade is lower than that of the senior grade;the labor cognition level of the female students is lower than that of the male students;Secondly,on the level of labor attitude,the level of the junior middle school students' voluntary participation in the labor experience and the active training of the labor emotion is low;the overall level of the low grade labor attitude is lower than the high grade;the labor attitude of the male students is the whole.The level is lower than the female students;the overall level of the one-child labor attitude needs to be improved and thirdly,on the level of labor ability,the junior middle school students have poor hands-on ability,low practical ability,and the innovative ability to be strengthened;the overall level of the labor ability of the lower grade is lower than the high grade;the overall labor ability of the male students is lower than the female students;the only child labor is able to work.The overall level of the force is low.The main problems resulted from family,school,teachers and students.The fifth chapter puts forward some countermeasures for the existing problems of the junior middle school students' labor competency in Yuancheng District,mainly from four levels: Family : first,parents should create a good family environment to cultivate their children's competency of labor;second,parents should set an example for students and give full play to the far-reaching and lasting role of family education.School : first,schools should give full play to the role of school education,and provide conditions for the implementation of labor education,and the second is to highlight the edification of school culture.Teacher l:the first is to give full play to the role of teachers,the second is to strengthen the training of the teachers themselves,making full use of the resources within and outside the school.Student : the first is to cultivate students' self-leaning spirit,and the second is to encourage students participate in the labor practice.
