Research purposes: Functional ankle instability as a common sequelae of an ankle sprain, afflicts many athletes and the general population, the mechanism is not yet clear, there are many treatments but its effectiveness needs further study. This article aims to observe the effect of mechanical vibration stimulation combined with rehabilitation training on the treatment of functional ankle instability, and to provide some theoretical support for the better application of vibration training to the rehabilitation of functional ankle instability.Research Methods: In this study,24 functional unbalanced ankles were screened and randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The control group received ankle rehabilitation training. The experimental group used mechanical vibration combined with short-time,small-intensity rehabilitation training. The vibration frequency is 40 Hz with an amplitude of 4 mm for a period of 8 weeks and training 3 times a week.Biodex balance system test,Biodex isokinetic muscle test, and star-bias balance test(SEBT)were performed before the experiment,4 weeks after the experiment, and 8 weeks after the experiment, and whether the difference between the two groups was observed during the middle and later stages of the experiment. It is significant. Results: After 8 weeks of training in the experimental group, the stability limit of the subjects was significantly different from that of the control group(P<0.05).There were significant differences in postural stability between the experimental group and the pre-training TSI for 4 weeks and 8 weeks in the postural stability(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the post-training 4 weeks APSI compared to the pre-training(P<0.05).There was a significant difference between the 8 weeks APSI and pre-training(P<0.01),and there was a significant difference between the 8-week training and the pre-training MLSI(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of training in the experimental group, the PT/BW of the ankle joint isokinetic muscle was significantly improved compared with that before the training(P < 0.01),and the relative peak torque was significantly different from that of the control group(P <0.05).After 8 weeks of training, the mean power of ankle(AP)was significantly different from that before training(P < 0.05).After eight weeks of training in the control group, the relative peak torque of the ankle joint was significantly different from that before the training(P <0.05).After 8 weeks of training, there was a significant difference in the LAT,PLAT,POST,MED and AMED in the experimental group compared with the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.8 weeks of vibration stimulation combined with rehabilitation training can improve the posture stability, muscle strength and dynamic balance ability of functional ankle instability, and can effectively improve the stability of the ankle joint.2.8 weeks of vibration stimulation combined with short-time low-intensity ankle joint rehabilitation training for functional ankle instability is better than long-term low-intensity ankle rehabilitation training.
