Research On The Design Of Personalized Experiential Learning Activities In The Blended Learning Environment

The technological progress and information change in the 21 st Century highlight the importance of practical ability to talents.However,the existing shortage in education status(the insufficient understanding of the social needs of the curriculum objectives,the inability of the unified teaching content to apply the prior experience of different students,and the differences between the educational environment and the actual context)constrain the quality of China's practical ability cultivation.Under the current situation,education scholars pay more attention to the experiential learning that focuses on personalized experience because of the necessity for cultivating talents.Some of them put forward the important position of personalized features in experiential learning.Therefore,the integration of personalized learning design elements into experiential learning curriculum design can become one of the research directions of experiential learning in the new situation,with potential research significance and practical value.This study starts from the current research progress of experiential learning and personalized learning,and then combs six personalized learning design elements that are suitable for experiential learning through documentary analysis,and designs experiential learning activities with personalized learning feature.To verify the effectiveness of this model,the researchers,guided by the DBR paradigm,design a three-round teaching intervention taking the course The Design and Development of Online Learning Resources as a compulsory course for postgraduates,and analyzes the data of each intervention.By analyzing the data and results of each teaching intervention,the researcher sums up the suggestions on how to revise the design patterns of activities.First of all,the study combs and analyzes the related literatures at home and abroad from the perspective of personalized learning process,extracts 11 personalized learning elements.Afterwards,it classify and analyze the six personalized learning design elements that are suitable for the experiential learning activities in a blended learning environment,which are: differentiated learning objectives,dynamically acquired learning content,learning strategies focused on personal knowledge construction,self-paced learning progress,adaptive blended learning environment,and multiple evaluation throughout the learning process.Under the guidance of the above six elements,the design framework of personalized experiential learning activities is designed,which provides teachers with the design ideas from four aspects: the design of learning objectives,the design of learning activities,the design of learning support and the design of learning evaluation.In order to verify the validity of the above theories,the research adopts the DBR research paradigm,takes The Design and Development of Online Learning Resources as the compulsory course for postgraduates,and conducts three rounds of teaching interventions.Each round of intervention using questionnaires,interviews,works analysis and other analysis methods to understand the effect of the implementation of interventions,extracts effective measures to improve and correct the process.Finally,this study refines the four-phase learning activities of personalized experiential learning activities and amends the activity design process.The results of teaching interventions show that the six personalized design elements in this study can effectively increase the personalized characteristics of experiential learning.In the process of designing learning activities,students should strengthen their understanding of individual characteristics and unit goals,and pay attention to the diversity and effectiveness of periodic learning reflections.In the end,the research puts forward a strategy of personalized experiential learning activities based on four aspects: learning content as the basis of judgment,student's individual needs as the starting point,the combination of autonomous learning and cooperative learning,and the spiraling learning process.Personalized experiential learning activity is a new exploration of teaching practice in a blended learning environment and an attempt to achieve a learner-centered teaching philosophy.The modified personalized experience-based learning activities design process can provide some ideas to help front-line teachers carry out classroom teaching practice.
