The junior high school stage plays a significant role in basic education and assumes the dual task of educating people and nurturing talents.Teachers play an important role in the education process.The performance evaluation of junior high school teachers can improve their teaching quality and achieve the teacher's own development.A comprehensive analysis of teachers' performance appraisal and evaluation literature shows that there are many specific studies on the performance evaluation of teachers in the higher education stage,however,little has been done on basic education teachers;although there are a small number of primary and middle school teachers' performance appraisal studies,most of the assessment indicators are concentrated on the four aspects of virtue and performance,and there is no further breakthrough in the basic framework of teacher evaluation.Because the process of performance evaluation is not scientific and reasonable,it is difficult to scientifically evaluate the performance level of junior middle school teachers.The paper takes junior middle school teachers as an example,and is based on a certain theoretical basis,along with the existing teacher performance evaluation structural framework as well as index system,sums up and formulates a performance evaluation index system including evaluation indicators and their standards and indicators,which is suitable for junior high school teachers.Firstly,the initial indicators were compiled into questionnaires,which were distributed to teachers and principals in different junior high schools.Then,the reliability analysis was conducted using SPSS20.0 to further screen the indicators.Secondly,questionnaires in which the primary,secondary and tertiary indexes were compared with each other were distributed to experts,using matrix dual method to determine the weight of the index system with likert five-point scale method to establish the evaluation standard,thus forming a perfect performance evaluation system for the junior high school teachers;finally,two teachers were selected from a junior high school with the convenient sampling method to test the evaluation index system built by the paper,consequently relevant data can be obtained and analyzed.The formulation of teachers' evaluation index system for junior middle school should be combined with the specific framework of relevant theories and practices at home and abroad,taking into consideration the experts'opinion as well as the actual conditions of the teachers themselves.The construction of junior middle school teachers' performance evaluation index system and its argumentation research will provide real and reliable basis for the scientific and rational evaluation of junior middle school teachers' performance and the innovation of school management.
